Absorbin sachet No. 10

Absorbin is an antidiarrheal drug. Enterosorbent. It is used to treat infectious and inflammatory diseases of the intestines.

Indications for use

Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea in children and infants (in combination therapy with oral rehydration solution) and in adults.

Symptomatic treatment of chronic diarrhea.

Symptomatic treatment of pain associated with esophagogastroduodenal and intestinal diseases.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to diosmectite or to one of the excipients.

Intestinal obstruction.

Method of application

Treatment of acute diarrhea

Children aged 1 month to 1 year: 2 sachets per day for 3 days, then 1 sachet per day.

Children over 1 year of age: 4 sachets per day for 3 days, then 2 sachets per day.

Adults: an average of 3 sachets per day. The dose of the drug can be doubled at the beginning of treatment.

Other indications

Children aged 1 month to 1 year: 1 sachet per day.

Children aged 1 to 2 years: 1 to 2 sachets per day.

Children over 2 years of age: 2–3 sachets per day.

Adults: an average of 3 sachets per day.

Application features

The medicinal product contains glucose. It is not recommended for patients with glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome.

If the symptoms do not disappear within 7 days, you should consult a doctor.

If the pain is associated with a high fever or vomiting, you should see a doctor immediately.

Pregnant women

The use of this medication during pregnancy is only recommended if necessary.

Children

Use for the treatment of children from 1 month of age.

Drivers

No studies have been conducted on the ability to drive and use machines under the influence of this medicinal product. However, its effects are expected to be negligible or absent.

Overdose

Overdose can lead to increased side effects, constipation.

Side effects

Gastrointestinal: constipation, which usually resolves after dose reduction, but in some cases may require discontinuation of treatment, flatulence, vomiting.
