Pharmacotherapeutic group
A complex homeopathic preparation.
Pharmacological properties
When used for medicinal purposes, the drug reduces chills and normalizes temperature; reduces inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, runny nose and cough; headache and weakness, reduces pain in muscles and joints; activates the body's defenses; speeds up recovery, prevents the development of complications.
When used prophylactically, the drug strengthens the body's overall resistance; increases local immunity of the upper respiratory tract; reduces the likelihood of flu and colds.
The drug stimulates the synthesis of interferon and the cellular component of immunity, which allows it to be used at different stages of the infectious process (both for prevention and treatment). It has an anti-inflammatory effect on the mucous and synovial membranes, which leads to a decrease in exudation and edema. It has a detoxifying and mild antipyretic effect.
The dual mechanism of action is provided both by improving the body's systemic and local immunity, and by the direct antiviral effect of the drug.
Indication
The drug is recommended for the prevention and treatment of flu and colds (acute respiratory viral infections), as well as in the complex treatment of inflammatory and rheumatic diseases with joint pain.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
There is currently no information regarding the drug's interactions with other medications.
Application features
AflubinÒ does not replace preventive influenza vaccination.
At the beginning of treatment with the drug, existing symptoms of the disease may temporarily worsen (primary reaction). This reaction is usually not harmful. If the symptoms do not disappear, the drug should be discontinued. After the disappearance of the primary reaction, the drug can be used again. If the symptoms worsen again, the drug should be discontinued.
Since AflubinÒ contains plant and other natural components, a slight change in the taste, transparency, or color of the solution may occur during storage, which does not lead to a decrease in the quality and effectiveness of the drug.
Aflubin oral drops should not be used in patients with alcohol dependence, as one dose of the drug (5/10 drops) contains 80/160 mg of alcohol.
The alcohol content should also be taken into account when using the drug by pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children and patients with a high risk of liver disease and the risk of epileptic seizures.
Long-term treatment with homeopathic medicines should be supervised by a doctor experienced in the use of homeopathic medicines, as symptoms may occur that are not listed in the instructions for medical use.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
There are no data on the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
There is no evidence of any risk of taking the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It is recommended to use the drug with caution during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
There are no data on the effect of the drug on reproductive function.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
Despite the alcohol content, the drug in recommended doses does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanical devices.
Method of administration and doses
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, you should follow this dosing schedule:

To achieve maximum effect, AflubinÒ is recommended to be used between meals (30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal).
To enhance effectiveness, it is recommended to hold the drug in the mouth for some time before swallowing. For ease of use in children, dilute the drug in a spoonful of water.
Children
The use of Aflubin® oral drops in children under 2 years of age is not recommended due to insufficient data.
Overdose
No cases of overdose have been registered.
Adverse reactions
Allergic reactions may occur, including rash, itching, and hives.
Expiration date
5 years.
Do not use the drug after the expiration date indicated on the package.
Storage conditions
Store the medicine in a tightly closed bottle in the original cardboard packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, out of the reach of children.
