Composition
15 ml (ml) Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief contain: Marshmallow dry extract 143 mg (mg), Honey 750 mg (mg)
Other ingredients: xylitol, xanthan gum, anhydrous glycerin, citric acid, strawberry flavor, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, purified water.
Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for Children does not contain artificial colors, does not contain lactose, does not contain gluten, does not contain alcohol, does not contain GMOs.
Properties
The valuable main ingredients of marshmallow and honey in the medical product Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for children act like a balm, covering and thus soothing the inflamed mucous membrane of the pharynx. The plant mucus forms a physical protective coating against foreign particles, thus relieving dry, irritating coughs and allowing the mucous membrane to recover.
Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for Children reliably and quickly relieves any dry and wet cough associated with a cold. In addition, Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for Children helps protect the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat in case of dryness. In case of straining of the vocal cords, for example due to talking or singing, a protective layer covers the vocal cords and provides long-lasting relief from symptoms such as coughing, sore throat and inability to clear the throat.
Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for Children is a cough syrup that contains mainly ingredients of natural origin and does not contain alcohol.
Aflubin® Plus Fast Relief for Children is well tolerated and therefore suitable for children.
Aflubin® Plus Fast Relief for Children is not only suitable for use during the day, but is also ideal for use at night. Thanks to its calming effect, it helps to have a restful and restorative sleep.
Dry cough – irritating cough
A dry cough, or an irritating cough, usually without phlegm, can occur for a variety of reasons. Irritation of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract can occur at the beginning or end of a cold cough. Dry air, foreign particles such as dust or allergens, or viruses and bacteria can also irritate the mucous membranes.
Wet cough – productive cough
The body's own mucous membrane, which keeps the bronchi moist and protects them from drying out, consists of several components, such as dead cells, various proteins and leukocytes. In the case of respiratory diseases, the composition, as well as the color and consistency, can change. If there is an increase in mucus production, the body tries to remove excess mucus from the branched network of bronchi by coughing. The mucus is moved by coughing into the oral cavity, where it can either be swallowed or spit out.
Also, with chesty coughs, when the mucous membrane of the throat is irritated, Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for Children helps soothe irritation.
Reliable cough relief
The cough reflex is necessary to clear the airways. It is triggered when there is secretion and it needs to be coughed up. In this so-called productive cough, the accumulated mucus causes coughing. Foreign particles can also activate cough receptors and cause a cough reflex ("dry cough").
Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for Children soothes the cough reflex in the stages of dry and wet cough, covering the cough receptors with a protective layer.
Reservation
Do not take Aflubin® Plus Fast Relief for Children if you are allergic to marshmallow, honey or any of the other ingredients of this medical product. In case of an allergic reaction, please discontinue use and consult a doctor.
15 ml (ml) of Aflubin® Plus Fast Relief for Children contains 2.76 g (g) of xylitol. The caloric value of xylitol is 2.4 kcal/g (kcal/g). Xylitol may have a laxative effect.
Use by patients with sugar intolerance
Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine as it contains honey.
Use in patients with diabetes mellitus
15 ml (ml) of the medical product Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for children contains 0.3 CU (bread (carbohydrate) units).
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
It is not recommended to use Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for children during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Use in children
Before use in children under 3 years of age, consult a doctor to rule out more serious medical conditions. Not recommended for use in children under 1 year of age.
Simultaneous use of Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for Children with other medicines
If you are taking other medications, it is recommended to take them ½ hour – 1 hour before or after taking Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for Children.
Please consult your doctor if: your symptoms do not improve or worsen after 5 days of use; you experience shortness of breath, fever, or purulent sputum while using Aflubin® Plus Fast Relief for Children.
Aflubin® Plus Fast Relief for Children contains methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate as preservatives. They may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
Method of administration and doses
A measuring cup is included for easy dosing.
Children aged 6 to 11 years: 15 milliliters (ml) up to 4 times a day.
Children 2 to 3 years old: 5 milliliters (ml) up to 4 times a day.
Children 1 year and older: 5 milliliters (ml) up to 3 times a day.
Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for children can be used both day and night.
To achieve the best treatment results, it is recommended to use Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for children at the recommended frequency.

Storage conditions
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label and carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Close the bottle tightly after use. Once opened, use within 4 weeks.
Keep the bottle in the original package to protect from light.
Keep this medical device out of the reach of children.

Aflubin® Plus Quick Relief for Children is a brown liquid. Ingredients of natural origin may cause the formation of small particles, and the color may vary from light brown to dark brown. These possible changes do not affect the quality of the syrup in any way.
