Alfort Dexa film-coated tablets 25 mg blister No. 10

Alfort Dexa film-coated tablets are indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of acute pain of mild to moderate severity, e.g. musculoskeletal pain, painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea), toothache.

Composition

Active ingredient: dexketoprofen;

1 film-coated tablet contains dexketoprofen 25 mg in the form of dexketoprofen trometamol;

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose (pH 101), corn starch, sodium starch (type A), glycerol distearate.

Shell: Opadry II 85F18422 white (polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E 171), polyethylene glycol, talc).

Contraindication

Method of application

Depending on the type and intensity of pain, the recommended dose is 12.5 mg (½ tablet) every 4-6 hours or 25 mg every 8 hours. The total daily dose should not exceed 75 mg.

Undesirable effects of the drug can be minimized by using the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time necessary to eliminate symptoms. The drug is not intended for long-term therapy; the duration of treatment should be limited to the duration of symptoms.

Like other NSAIDs, the drug should be taken preferably with or after food. However, taking with food delays absorption; in case of acute pain, it is recommended to take the drug at least 30 minutes before a meal.

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose are unknown. Similar drugs cause disorders of the digestive tract (vomiting, anorexia, abdominal pain) and the nervous system (drowsiness, dizziness, disorientation, headache).

In case of accidental overdose, symptomatic treatment should be initiated immediately according to the patient's condition. Dexketoprofen is removed from the body by dialysis.

Side effects

Gastrointestinal tract: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting with blood, dry mouth.

Interaction

Other NSAIDs, including selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors and high doses of salicylates (≥3 g/day). The simultaneous use of several NSAIDs increases the risk of gastrointestinal ulcers and bleeding due to their mutual potentiation of their effects.

Anticoagulants NSAIDs enhance the effect of anticoagulants, such as warfarin, due to the high degree of binding of dexketoprofen to blood plasma proteins, as well as inhibition of platelet function and damage to the gastric and duodenal mucosa. If simultaneous use is necessary, it should be carried out under the supervision of a physician and monitoring of relevant laboratory parameters.

Heparin increases the risk of bleeding (due to inhibition of platelet function and damage to the gastric and duodenal mucosa). If concomitant use is necessary, it should be carried out under the supervision of a physician with monitoring of relevant laboratory parameters.
