Amorolfine-Inteli medicated nail polish 50mg/ml (5%) 2.5 ml

Amorolfine-Intel is prescribed for the treatment of onychomycosis without matrix involvement (mild to moderate) caused by dermatophytes, yeasts and molds.

Composition

Active ingredient: amorolfine hydrochloride.

1 ml of the drug contains amorolfine hydrochloride in the form of amorolfine 50 mg.

Excipients: ammonium methacrylate copolymer (type A), triacetin, n-butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, anhydrous ethanol.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients of the drug.

Method of application

Nail polish is applied to the affected fingernails or toenails once a week.

Patients should apply the varnish as directed below.

Before the first application of Amorolfine-Intel, it is important to file the affected areas of the nails (especially the nail surface) as thoroughly as possible using the nail file supplied with the product. The nail surface should then be cleaned and degreased using the wipe provided. Before re-applying Amorolfine-Intel, a medicated nail varnish 50 mg/ml, the affected nails should be filed again and cleaned using the wipe to remove any remaining varnish.

Pregnant women

In reproductive toxicity studies in laboratory animals, no signs of teratogenicity were found, but embryotoxic effects were observed with oral administration of the drug in high doses.

Children

The safety and efficacy of the drug in children (under 18 years of age) have not yet been established.

Drivers

No effect.

Overdose

Amorolfine-Inteli is intended for topical use. In case of accidental ingestion, an appropriate method of gastric emptying should be used.

Side effects

Adverse drug reactions are rare. Nail lesions (e.g., nail discoloration, brittleness, nail fragility) may occur. These reactions may also be due to onychomycosis itself.

Interaction

Interaction studies have not been conducted. During treatment, the application of cosmetic nail polish and the use of artificial nails should be avoided.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. Protect from high temperatures. After use, keep the bottle upright and tightly closed.
