Composition
active ingredients: benzocaine, bismuth subgallate, zinc oxide, menthol;
1 suppository contains benzocaine (0.1 g) 100 mg, bismuth subgallate (0.04 g) 40 mg, zinc oxide (0.02 g) 20 mg, menthol (0.004 g) 4 mg;
excipients: polyethylene oxide 1500, polyethylene oxide 400.
Dosage form
Suppositories.
Main physicochemical properties: greenish-yellow suppositories, spherical in shape.

Anestezol® is a complex drug, the therapeutic effect of which is due to the pharmacological properties of the active components that make up its composition. Anestezol® has a local anesthetic, anti-inflammatory and astringent effect.

Symptomatic therapy of hemorrhoids and anal fissures.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Hypersensitivity to other amide anesthetics.

Method of administration and doses
Before using the suppository, you must:
tear off one suppository from the primary packaging along the perforation line of the blister pack;
Next, you need to pull the edges of the film, tearing it in different directions, and release the suppository from the primary packaging.
The drug is used rectally. 1 suppository 1–2 times a day after a cleansing enema of the intestines or independent defecation.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor, taking into account the course and severity of the disease, and the achieved therapeutic effect.
Children
There is no data on the use of the drug in children.
Overdose
When used in therapeutic doses, overdose is unlikely. Possible increased manifestations of adverse reactions. Treatment is symptomatic.
Side effects
Sometimes allergic reactions, skin rashes, itching occur. The drug can have a laxative effect, cause burning in the anus. With prolonged use, blood reactions (methemoglobinemia) may develop.
