Description
ANXIOMEDIN is recommended for prevention and complex use in mild and moderate anxiety disorders, which are accompanied by irritability, emotional lability, feelings of anxiety and fear, low purchasing power for adaptation. ANXIOMEDIN does not cause impaired concentration, so it can be used during the working day or during study. ANXIOMEDIN is not addictive, and after completing the course, withdrawal syndrome does not develop.
Active ingredients
Ashwagandha extract (Withania somnifera) contains a number of active alkaloids and steroid lactones (anolides). It has been proven that sitoinoside VII and sitoinoside VIII have anxiolytic activity. Sitoinoside IX and X are responsible for the properties of the extract associated with improving memory, cognitive functions and stress resistance. Ashwagandha has a multi-purpose effect on various organs and systems. The extract has a proven adaptogenic effect, i.e. improves the ability to cope with stress. During high stress, it helps the body normalize physiological processes and adapt to changes. Clinical studies have shown that ashwagandha has a significant anti-anxiety effect, which is confirmed not only by changes in anxiety scales, but also by the ability to directly reduce the level of cortisol - the stress hormone.
L-theanine is a naturally occurring amino acid that is a derivative of glutamic acid. It is found mainly in tea (Camellia sinensis). L-theanine penetrates the blood-brain barrier and has a relaxing effect, calms the nervous system, improves concentration and attention, but does not have a direct sedative effect and does not slow down reactions. L-theanine promotes the synthesis of GABA in the brain and is itself able to stimulate GABA receptors.
L-theanine generates and regulates alpha waves (frequency 8-12 Hz) in the brain, which are responsible for relaxation, concentration and creative activity of a person. It has been clinically proven that taking L-theanine has an anxiolytic effect when exposed to various anxiety factors. Clinical studies show that L-theanine enhances alpha activity of the brain and reduces anxiety levels using anxiety scales.
Passionflower extract (Passiflora incarnata) contains indole alkaloids (harman, harmine, harmol), some flavonoids (vitexin, quercetin), as well as coumarins, quinones, etc. The components of the extract inhibit mono-oxidase (MAO) and activate GABA receptors in the brain. Clinical studies show that passionflower extract reduces anxiety, tension, and has a moderate anxiolytic effect.
Indication
Recommended as an additional source of biologically active substances of plant origin and amino acids to reduce the manifestations of anxiety, restlessness, internal tension, irritability. Has neuroprotective, adaptogenic and mild anti-anxiety properties in emotional and oxidative stress; helps reduce the negative impact of daily stress on the body; improves overall well-being, increases efficiency, reduces fatigue; does not disrupt concentration and is not addictive.
Contraindication
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, increased individual sensitivity to components, childhood, severe diseases of the cardiovascular system, alcohol abuse.
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
Should not be used as a substitute for a complete diet.
Method of administration and doses
Adults should take 1-3 capsules per day after meals, with plenty of water. The course of treatment is from 1 to 3 months.
