Properties
The anti-inflammatory multi-component natural product API-NORM®NEO combines the restoration of the depleted ability of cellular defense mechanisms with the effects of suppressing unwanted increased proliferation and activation of the self-destructive function of defective cells, bringing these functions to the physiological norm.
A common property inherent in natural multicomponent preparations for topical use is the normalization of the sensitivity of many regulatory systems of the cell, disrupted as a result of prolonged irritation by damaging factors. This is ensured by the simultaneous action on a wide range of different signaling and biochemical cascades of a multitude of biological substances that are delivered directly to the cells at the site of application, bypassing complete or partial destruction in the gastrointestinal tract and liver. This approach is especially effective in chronic inflammation, when cells or tissues, unable to independently cope with prolonged damaging effects, practically cease to respond to it. The combination of replenishing the deficiency of trace elements with a moderate antibacterial effect of a non-antibiotic nature leads to the normalization of the microbiocenosis without the destruction of normal microflora.

Indications for use
In gynecology, in chronic inflammatory processes in the pelvic organs, in case of impaired local immunity, the threat of neoplastic processes, in complex antitumor therapy of the vaginal mucosa and cervix, cervical dysplasia, endometritis, endometrial hyperplasia and salpingitis;
in urology for chronic inflammatory processes that threaten the development of neoplastic changes, in complex antitumor therapy of the urinary system.
Contraindication.
Do not use during pregnancy. Breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment. Use with caution in severe liver dysfunction, individual hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. During treatment, it is recommended to refrain from sexual intercourse, other traumatic actions, consumption of spicy food and alcoholic beverages.
Method of application
The suppository is inserted into the vagina after hygiene procedures to the depth of the index finger. After inserting the suppository, it is recommended to lie on the left or right side for 15 minutes. If the mucous membrane is damaged, a burning sensation may be felt for 3-5 minutes during the first two days, which is acceptable. To avoid staining underwear, it is recommended to use sanitary pads.
In chronic inflammatory processes and neoplastic changes in the pelvic organs, 1 suppository is used at night for 10-15 days. Depending on the course of the disease, there may be three courses. The break between courses is 5 days.
To enhance the therapeutic accessibility of the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries, vaginal suppositories API-NORM®NEO are used simultaneously - vaginally and rectal suppositories API-NORM®NEO - rectally, 1 suppository of each type per night. The course of double use is 10 days. The break between courses should be 5 days. The decision on further use is made based on the results of the assessment of the dynamics of changes.
During the rehabilitation period after radiation and chemotherapy, API-NORM®NEO is started on the second day after the end of radiation and 1 suppository at night for 10-15 days on the 7-10th day after the end of chemotherapy. The duration of use is determined by the dynamics of rehabilitation. With slow positive dynamics, the course can be repeated with a break of 5 days. There can be three such courses.
In the preoperative period, API-NORM®NEO is used to reduce edema, prevent the development of sepsis, and increase tumor resectability. For this purpose, 1 suppository is used at night for 5-10 days. To avoid masking the surgical field with additional staining, the use of suppositories should be discontinued 2-3 days before surgery.
In the postoperative period, on the second day after surgery on the pelvic organs, 1-2 suppositories are used per day to relieve edema, prevent inflammation, sepsis, anesthesia and suppress excessive proliferation. The duration of use is determined by the dynamics of recovery processes. After 10-15 days of treatment, a break of 5 days should be taken.
For palliative treatment and in cases where further full-fledged cytotoxic therapy and surgical intervention are impossible or impractical, API-NORM®NEO suppositories are used to inhibit tumor progression, relieve inflammation, provide pain relief, and improve general condition. It can be used both sporadically and in courses of 10-15 days, 2 suppositories per day. A 5-day break is required between courses.
To prevent recurrence of chronic inflammation and neoplastic changes in the pelvic organs, in patients who have had an oncological incident or have a genetic predisposition - every three months for two years and especially in the autumn and spring periods, it is recommended to conduct preventive courses of 1 suppository at night, every other day for 10-15 days. If the condition worsens, additional courses can be conducted, supporting 1 suppository for 10 days.
Side effects
General weakness, dizziness, nausea, joint pain, gastrointestinal disorders, burning and itching in the vagina. If these symptoms appear, the drug intake is reduced to 1 suppository per day for up to 3-5 days. After that, the course should be continued. If the above or other side effects that were not observed before last, last more than 3-5 days, it is necessary to stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.

The above side effects may be increased.
