Vaginal suppositories "Api-Norm" are a balanced composition based on beekeeping products and plant components. It has anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties, prevents the development of complications and possible relapses in diseases of the female pelvic organs.

The drug is compatible with other therapeutic and prophylactic agents. Vaginal suppositories have pronounced anti-inflammatory, bacteriostatic, antifungal, antispasmodic, immunomodulatory and reparative properties, eliminate and prevent atrophic changes in the vaginal mucosa in women during menopause and reduce the clinical symptoms of acute and chronic diseases.

Method of application

The drug is recommended for use in acute and chronic inflammatory processes in the pelvic organs in women, in the complex and anti-relapse therapy of urinary tract infections, diseases of the cervix and vagina of trichomonas, fungal and bacterial origin. It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of salpingo-oophoritis, endometritis, endocervicitis, colpitis, including atrophic, cystitis, erosions of the cervix and vagina, as well as after surgical interventions. The drug can be successfully used for the prevention and correction of changes in the microbiocenosis, as well as in the complex pre-pregnancy preparation of women with infertility.

Active ingredients: activated propolis extract, beeswax extract, St. John's wort extract, calendula extract or oil, sea buckthorn oil.

Excipients: solid fat, polysorbate, dimethyl sulfoxide, polyethylene oxide, ascorbic acid.

Method of application

The drug is used both independently and as an adjuvant, which significantly increases the effectiveness of treatment.

Recommended dosage:

In acute inflammatory processes, suppositories are inserted into the vagina after hygiene procedures, one suppository at night for 5-10 days; In vaginitis, cervical erosion, endocervicitis - one suppository at night for 15-20 days; In endometritis, endometrial hyperplasia, salpingo-oophoritis - one suppository at night for 20-30 days (after 7-14 days, a consolidation course is prescribed - 10 days, one suppository at night).

In chronic forms of the diseases listed above, the duration of treatment is 3 courses of 15-20 days, one suppository at night.

Breaks between courses are 1-2 weeks.

To prevent relapses and consolidate the therapeutic effect, it is recommended to continue using the drug monthly for six months, one suppository at night for 5-10 days.

In cases where vaginal use is contraindicated, rectal use is permitted.

Precautions

Studies of the safety and efficacy of the drug in children, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding, have not been conducted, therefore the drug is not recommended for use in these groups.

Caution should be exercised when using the drug in case of hypersensitivity to its ingredients.

Allergic reactions are possible: burning, flushing, rash, redness and itching of the skin. These or other unusual side effects should be reported to your doctor.

During application, a burning sensation may occur for 3-5 minutes, indicating inflammation of the mucous membrane, which disappears after 2-3 procedures.

During menstruation, vaginal use of the drug should be suspended.

During treatment, drinking alcoholic beverages and sexual intercourse are prohibited.

In cases of suspected malignant tumor, the drug can be used under the supervision of a physician.
