Properties

Aqua Maris® Allergy Nasal Spray contains a unique molecule - ectoine, which helps protect the mucous membrane and has anti-inflammatory properties. The 100% natural ingredient ectoine is obtained from microorganisms (extremophiles) that live in very adverse conditions. To protect themselves from the aggressive effects of the environment, extremophiles produce ectoine.

Ectoine is an amino acid derivative with powerful osmotrophic (water-structure-forming) and biomolecule-stabilizing properties. It protects and stabilizes cell membranes by forming a protective hydrocomplex on the nasal mucosa, which prevents allergens from contacting the cells, thereby reducing allergen-induced hypersensitivity reactions. Thus, allergens can be effectively trapped on the nasal epithelium and easily removed from the nasal cavity during nasal blowing.

Aqua Maris® Allergy nasal spray protects the nasal mucosa from adverse external influences, such as dehydration or airborne particles, and facilitates the regeneration of the sensitive nasal mucosa.

Recommendations for use

• To relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as itching, runny nose, sneezing and nasal congestion;
• to protect the nasal epithelium from the adverse effects of allergens (during periods of increased exposure to pollen, house dust, or other particles in the air);
• for preventive purposes to reduce mucosal irritation during allergy season, before and after the season.

Method of administration and doses

Adults and children over 10 years old, 1-2 injections into each nostril several times a day.

Children from 2 to 10 years old, 1-2 sprays into each nostril several times a day under parental supervision.

Before first use, remove the protective cap and press the spray 2-3 times to remove the air. For hygiene reasons, the product is intended for use by one person only.

Application features

Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Do not use after surgery or nasal injuries.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the components of the product.
