Composition
Isotonic sterile solution of Adriatic Sea seawater with natural salts and trace elements.
Description: Clear, colorless, odorless solution.
Properties
Breathing through the nose is the only correct way to breathe, which is vital for the development and growth of the child. Therefore, taking care of nasal hygiene is important from the first days of life. Dry nasal mucosa, contaminating accumulations and nasal discharge, swelling of the nasal mucosa do not allow air to pass freely through the child's nose. This can cause the child to cry and be irritable, and disrupt sleep and feeding.
Properties:
Aqua Maris® Baby Intensive maintains the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa and moisturizes it;
Aqua Maris® Baby Intensive leads to mechanical cleansing of the mucous membrane from street and indoor dust, mucous secretions and other pathogenic factors (bacteria, viruses, allergens, etc.) acting on the mucous membrane;
In inflammatory diseases of the nose with abundant mucus and mucopurulent discharge, the use of Aqua Maris® Baby Intensive promotes faster evacuation of mucus, improves the use of local medications, and makes breathing easier;
Aqua Maris® Baby Intensive thins mucus and normalizes its production in the nasal mucosa;
Aqua Maris® Baby Intensive improves the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses to the penetration of pathogenic bacteria and viruses;
Due to its properties and composition, Aqua Maris® Baby Intensive restores nasal functions, thereby reducing the inflammatory process and reducing the risk of complications.
Indications for use
Aqua Maris® Baby Intensive nasal spray with a nozzle specially designed for children is used:
As an adjunct in the treatment of:
acute and chronic inflammatory processes and diseases of the nasopharynx, paranasal sinuses and nasal cavity of various etiologies;
infectious diseases of the nose and nasopharynx in the autumn-winter period (ARI, ARVI and colds);
hypertrophy and inflammation of adenoids in children;
allergic seasonal or perennial rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis;
to prepare for the introduction of drugs into the nasal cavity in order to improve their absorption;
in the postoperative period after surgical interventions on the nasal cavity organs.
For daily nasal hygiene and for preventive purposes:
moisturizing the nasal mucosa in dry air conditions;
cleaning the nasal mucosa from dust and allergens;
prevention of nasal cavity infections in the autumn-winter period;
reducing dryness of the nasal mucosa in people living and working in rooms with air conditioning and/or central heating, in order to preserve the physiological characteristics of the mucosa in changed microclimatic conditions;
persons whose mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and upper respiratory tract is constantly exposed to harmful influences (smokers, drivers, people working in hot and dusty workshops, as well as those living in regions with harsh climatic conditions).
Method of administration and doses
For preventive and hygienic purposes
Children from 1 month to 1 year: 1-2 sprays into each nasal passage 1-2 times a day. Children from 1 to 7 years: 1-2 sprays into each nasal passage 1-3 times a day; children from 7 to 16 years and adults: 2-3 sprays into each nasal passage 2-3 times a day.
As an aid in treatment
Children from 1 month to 1 year 1-2 sprays in each nasal passage 3-4 times a day. Children from 1 to 7 years 2 sprays in each nasal passage 3-4 times a day; children from 7 to 16 years and adults 2 sprays in each nasal passage 4-6 times a day.
Application features
The product is used for children from the first month of life due to its natural composition and special design of the spray nozzle. The product is safe for long-term use, is not addictive, and does not contain preservatives. For children under 1 month of age, it is more appropriate to use Aqua Maris® nasal drops.
Release form
50 or 150 ml (ml) in a spray can, 1 spray can in a cardboard box.
Expiration date
3 years.
Storage conditions
Keep out of the reach of children. The outer container is filled with an inert gas - propellant (nitrogen) which does not come into contact with the solution. Do not pierce or burn after use. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, open flames or any other source of ignition. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C.
