Aqua Maris nasal drops for children 10 ml

"Aqua Maris for children from birth" is a remedy for treating nasal diseases.

Features

Sterilized isotonic seawater helps maintain the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa.

The drug helps to thin mucus and normalize its production in the goblet cells of the nasal mucosa.

The trace elements that make up the drug improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, have an anti-inflammatory, cleansing, stimulating, and restorative effect on the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity.

In allergic and vasomotor rhinitis, the drug helps to wash away and remove allergens and haptens from the nasal mucosa, and reduce the local inflammatory process.

The drug, used for hygienic purposes, helps cleanse the mucous membrane of street and indoor dust that has settled on it.

Indication

acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx; adenoids; postoperative period (after operations on the nasal cavity); allergic and vasomotor rhinitis (especially in people prone to or suffering from hypersensitivity to drugs, including pregnant women and during lactation); prevention and treatment as part of complex therapy of nasal cavity infections in the autumn-winter period (including in pregnant women and during lactation); dryness of the nasal mucosa; preservation of physiological characteristics of the nasal mucosa in changed microclimatic conditions - in people who live and work in rooms with air conditioning and/or central heating; in people whose upper respiratory tract mucosa is constantly exposed to harmful influences (smokers, drivers of vehicles, people working in hot and dusty workshops, as well as in regions with harsh climatic conditions).

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Precautions

Side effects - allergic reactions are possible.

Since the drug does not have a systemic effect on the body, no interactions with other drugs have been noted. It can be used with other drugs used to treat the common cold.

For newborns, to avoid the risk of middle ear infection, instill the solution into the nasal cavity with caution, with minimal pressure on the bottle.

Do not use the drug after the expiration date.

Method of administration and doses

Treatment: for children from the first day of life - 4 times a day, 2 drops in each nostril. The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks (at the discretion of the doctor). It is recommended to repeat the course in a month.

Prevention: from the first day of life, children should be given a toilet in the form of instillation of drops 2-3 times a day, 1-2 drops in each nostril.

To soften and remove contaminating accumulations and nasal secretions: instill into each nostril as much as the situation requires, removing the excess fluid that flows out with cotton wool or a handkerchief. The procedure can be repeated many times until the accumulations of contaminating particles are successfully softened and removed.

Expiration date

2 years.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C out of the reach of children.

Use within 45 days after opening the bottle.
