Composition
The solution contains 30 ml of Adriatic Sea water with natural trace elements;
The natural water of the Adriatic Sea, which is part of the solution, contains ions Cl-, Na +, SO42-, Mg2 +, Ca2 +, K +, HCO3-, Br -, as well as trace elements such as: zinc, selenium, iodine, iron, manganese, etc.
Does not contain preservatives and chemical additives.

Pharmacological properties
Sterile isotonic seawater moisturizes the nasal mucosa and helps maintain its normal physiological state, helps thin mucus and normalize its production in the goblet cells of the nasal mucosa.
The trace elements of the Adriatic Sea water improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, have a stimulating, regenerating, cleansing, and anti-inflammatory effect on the nasal mucosa, and increase its resistance to the introduction of pathogenic microorganisms.
Calcium and magnesium ions stimulate the movement of the "eternal cells" of the mucous membrane, which contribute to the removal of microorganisms and foreign particles from the nasal cavity, and normalize the rheological properties of mucus.
Iodine, sodium ions, and chloride ions have an antiseptic effect and also activate the production of protective mucus.
Zinc and selenium ions stimulate local immunity of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses.
Calcium ions have an anti-allergic effect.
Carbonates, sulfates, and chlorides normalize the production of nasal mucus.
Aqua Maris® Classic nasal spray helps to flush and remove viruses, bacteria, allergens and foreign particles from the nasal mucosa, reducing local inflammation. Aqua Maris® Classic nasal spray, used for hygienic purposes, helps to cleanse the mucous membrane from street and indoor dust settled on it.
Indication
prevention of acute respiratory infections (ARI); prevention of rhinitis; dryness of the nasal mucosa; preparation of the mucosa for the use of nasal medications; preservation of the physiological characteristics of the nasal mucosa in changed microclimatic conditions in people living and working in rooms with air conditioning and/or central heating; in people whose nasopharynx is constantly exposed to harmful influences (smokers, drivers, people working in hot and dusty workshops, as well as in regions with harsh climatic conditions).
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Children under 1 year of age (for nasal metered dose spray).
Interaction with other drugs
Since the drug does not have a systemic effect on the body, no interactions with other drugs have been noted. It can be used with other drugs used to treat the common cold.
Application features
Before first use, remove the protective cap and press the sprayer 2-3 times to release the air.
Aqua Maris® Classic nasal spray is compatible with all products used to treat a runny nose.
For newborns, to avoid the risk of middle ear infection, instill the solution into the nasal cavity with caution, with minimal pressure on the bottle.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Method of administration and doses
Treatment:
Aqua Maris® nasal drops for children:
children from 1 day of life: 2 drops in each nostril 4 times a day;
Aqua Maris® nasal spray dosed:
children from 1 to 7 years: 4 times a day, two injections into each nostril; children from 7 to 16 years: 4-6 times a day, two injections into each nostril; adults: 4-8 times a day, 2-3 injections into each nostril;
The course of treatment in all cases is 2-4 weeks (at the doctor's discretion). It is recommended to repeat the course in a month.
Prevention:
Aqua Maris® nasal drops for children:
children from the 1st day of life should be given a toilet by instilling Aqua Maris® drops 2-3 times a day, 1-2 drops in each nostril;
Aqua Maris® nasal spray dosed:
Children from 1 to 7 years: 1-3 times a day, one or two sprays into each nostril; Children from 7 to 16 years: 2-4 times a day, two sprays into each nostril; Adults: 3-6 times a day, two or three sprays into each nostril.
To soften and remove contaminating buildup and nasal secretions:
Aqua Maris® is sprayed or instilled into each nostril as much as the situation requires, removing the excess fluid with a cotton ball or handkerchief. The procedure can be repeated many times until the accumulation of contaminating particles is successfully softened and removed.
For the prevention of acute respiratory viral infections and rhinitis and daily hygiene of the nasal cavity: children from 1 year and adults 1-2 injections several times a day, if necessary, more frequent use is possible. To eliminate dryness and irritation in the nasal cavity: children from 1 year and adults 3-4 injections several times a day, if necessary, more frequent use is possible. The duration of use is not limited.
Overdose
No cases of overdose have been reported.
Adverse reactions
Allergic reactions are possible.
Expiration date
3 years. Do not use the product after the expiration date. Use within 45 days after opening the bottle.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C. Keep out of the reach of children.

30 ml (30.36 g) of the drug in a neutral brown glass bottle equipped with a dosing device, a spray head and a protective cap made of propylene. One bottle with instructions for use is placed in a cardboard box.
