* Dexpanthenol 75L is an aqueous solution containing not less than 75% (R)-panthenol stabilized with approximately 1% D-pantolactone.

Properties
Aqua Maris® Plus is a sterile isotonic solution containing sea water and dexpanthenol.
Dexpanthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid. Pantothenic acid is a water-soluble vitamin of the B complex and is a component of coenzyme A. Dexpanthenol stimulates the regeneration of the mucous membrane, normalizes cellular metabolism, and has a regenerating and weak anti-inflammatory effect. When injected into the nasal cavity, Aqua Maris® Plus moisturizes the mucous membrane, stimulates regeneration and has a trophic effect on the cells of the nasal mucosa. The drug helps to thin mucus and normalize its production in the goblet cells of the nasal mucosa. The trace elements included in the drug improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses.
Indication
Aqua Maris® Plus is indicated for:
for the treatment and prevention of atrophic and subatrophic rhinitis;
for cleansing and moisturizing the nasal mucosa in inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, sinuses and nasopharynx, including pregnant women and during lactation;
in the complex therapy of allergic and vasomotor rhinitis (especially in persons prone to or suffering from hypersensitivity to drugs, including pregnant women and during lactation);
for the prevention of nasal cavity infections in the autumn-winter period (including pregnant women and during lactation);
patients suffering from dry nasal mucosa and persons living and working in rooms with air conditioning and/or central heating, in order to preserve the physiological characteristics of the nasal mucosa in changed microclimatic conditions;
people whose upper respiratory tract mucosa is constantly exposed to harmful influences (smokers, drivers, people working in hot and dusty workshops, as well as those living in regions with harsh climatic conditions);
elderly people to prevent age-related atrophic changes in the nasal mucosa.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Since the drug does not have a systemic effect on the body, no interactions with other drugs have been noted. It can be used with other drugs used to treat the common cold.
Application features
It is not recommended to use it outdoors during the cold season, and it is not recommended to go outside from a warm room immediately after using the drug during the cold season.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms.
Method of administration and doses
For therapeutic purposes:
children from 1 year to 7 years: 4 times a day, two sprays in each nostril;
children from 7 to 16 years old: 4-6 times a day, two injections into each nostril;
children from 16 years of age and adults: 4-8 times a day, two to three sprays into each nostril.
The course of treatment in all cases is 2-4 weeks (at the doctor's discretion).
It is recommended to repeat the course in a month.
For preventive purposes:
children from 1 year to 7 years: 1-3 times a day, one to two sprays into each nostril;
children from 7 to 16 years old: 2-4 times a day, two injections into each nostril;
children from 16 years of age and adults: 3-6 times a day, two to three sprays into each nostril.

Overdose
No cases of overdose have been reported.
Adverse reactions
Allergic reactions are possible.
Expiration date
2 years.
Do not use the drug after the expiration date.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C in a place inaccessible to children.

30 ml of the drug in a dark glass bottle equipped with a spray device and a protective propylene cap.
One bottle together with instructions for use is placed in a cardboard box.
