1 capsule contains 1-methyl-2-((phenylthio)methyl)-3-carbethoxy-4-((dimethylamino)methyl)-5-hydroxy-6-bromoindole hydrochloride monohydrate, calculated as an anhydrous substance, 200 mg;
Excipients: potato starch, povidone, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, povidone.

Antiviral agent with immunomodulatory action, specifically suppresses influenza A and B viruses, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). Prevents contact and penetration of viruses into cells, inhibiting the fusion of the lipid envelope with cell membranes. Has an interferon-inducing effect, stimulates humoral and cellular immune responses, phagocytic function of macrophages, increases the body's resistance to viral infections. Reduces the incidence of complications associated with viral infection.
Therapeutic efficacy in viral infections is manifested in the reduction of general intoxication and cellular manifestations of the disease, the duration of the disease is shortened. The drug belongs to low-toxic drugs (LD50> 4 g/kg), has no negative effect on the human body when used in recommended doses.
The drug is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The maximum concentration is reached 1.2 hours after taking a dose of 50 mg, 1.5 hours after taking a dose of 100 mg. The half-life is 17-21 hours. Approximately 40% of the drug is excreted unchanged in the feces (38.9%) and urine (0.12%). During the first day, 90% of the administered dose is excreted.
Indications for use.
Prevention and treatment of influenza A and B, acute respiratory viral infections, including complicated ones. As part of complex therapy for chronic bronchitis, pneumonia and recurrent herpetic infection.
As part of complex therapy for acute intestinal infections of rotavirus etiology in children over 12 years of age.
Contraindication.
Hypersensitivity to the drug. Children under 12 years of age.

Method of administration and doses.
It is used for children over 12 years of age and adults. It is taken orally 30 minutes before meals. A single dose for children over 12 years of age and adults is 200 mg.
For non-specific prophylaxis:
in direct contact with patients with influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections:
- children over 12 years old - 200 mg,
during the epidemic of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections, to prevent complications of chronic bronchitis, recurrence of herpetic infection:
- children over 12 years of age and adults - 200 mg 2 times a week for 3 weeks.
For treatment
Influenza, other acute respiratory viral infections without complications:
- children over 12 years of age and adults - 200 mg 4 times a day (every 6 hours) for 5 days;
flu, other acute respiratory viral infections with complications (bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.):
- children aged 12 years and older and adults - 200 mg 4 times a day (every 6 hours) for 5 days, then take a single dose once a week for 4 weeks.
In the complex treatment of chronic bronchitis, herpetic infection:
- children over 12 years of age and adults - 200 mg 4 times a day (every 6 hours) for 5 to 7 days, then take a single dose 2 times a week for 4 weeks.
Complex therapy of acute intestinal infections of rotavirus etiology in children aged 12 years and older:
- children over 12 years of age and adults - 200 mg 4 times a day (every 6 hours) for 5 days.
