Pharmacological properties

The components of the collection contain essential oil, flavonoids, coumarins, polysaccharides, mineral salts, organic acids, tannins, alkaloids, resinous and bitter substances. This complex of biologically active substances has a hypoglycemic effect in type 2 diabetes mellitus, which makes it possible in some cases to reduce the daily dose of oral antidiabetic agents, increases tolerance to carbohydrates. In type 1 diabetes mellitus, a noticeable hypoglycemic effect was not observed.

Indication

Type 2 diabetes mellitus of mild and moderate severity, both independently and as part of complex therapy.

Application

5 g (1 dessert spoon) of the collection is placed in an enameled dish, poured with 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, covered with a lid and infused in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the residue is squeezed to a filtered infusion. the volume of the infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water. adults take 1/3-1/2 cup warm 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days. children, depending on age, - from 1 dessert spoon to 1/4 cup 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days. It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

2 filter bags are placed in a glass or enameled dish, poured with 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, closed and infused for 15 minutes. Adults take 1 cup warm 2 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days. Children, depending on age, from 2 dessert spoons to 1/2 cup 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days.

It is recommended to repeat the treatment course after 10-15 days. 3-4 courses are carried out during the year.

Storage conditions
