Composition

active ingredients: 1 g of the collection contains: common blueberry shoots (Vaccinii myrtilli cormus) 0.2 g, common bean fruit valves (Phaseoli valvae fructum) 0.2 g, prickly eleutherococcus rhizomes and roots (Eleutherococci senticosi rhizomata et radices) 0.15 g, rosehip fruit (Rosae fructus) 0.15 g, field horsetail herb (Equiseti arvensis herba) 0.1 g, St. John's wort herb (Hyperici herba) 0.1 g, chamomile flowers (Matricariae flores) 0.1 g.

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics. Biologically active substances of the drug have a hypoglycemic effect in type II diabetes mellitus, which makes it possible in some cases to reduce the daily doses of oral antidiabetic agents; they increase tolerance to carbohydrates.

Indication

Type II diabetes mellitus of mild and moderate severity (as part of complex therapy).

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug. Arterial hypertension, nephritis, nephrosis, nephrosonephritis.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

In complex therapy, it may help reduce the doses of oral antidiabetic drugs. It is not recommended for use in patients taking anticoagulants, antibiotics, sulfonamides, contraceptives, antihypertensives - calcium channel blockers, female sex hormones, cholesterolemic agents (statins), cardiac glycosides.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

As prescribed by a doctor in cases where the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/child.

Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

When using the drug, caution should be exercised when driving vehicles and working with potentially dangerous mechanisms.

Method of administration and doses

Place 1 dessert spoon of the collection in an enameled dish, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and infuse in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the residue to a strained infusion. Bring the volume of the infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Take the infusion warm 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days: adults and children over 14 years old - ⅓ - ½ cup, children 12-14 years old - ¼ cup, 7-12 years old - 2 tablespoons, 3-7 years old - 1 tablespoon. Shake the infusion before use.

Place 2 filter bags in a glass or enameled container, pour 200 ml of boiling water, close and let stand for 15 minutes. Take the infusion warm 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 20-30 days: adults and children over 14 years old - 1 glass, children 12-14 years old - ½ glass, 7-12 years old - ¼ glass, 3-7 years old - 2 tablespoons.

Store the prepared infusion at a temperature of 8-15 °C for no more than 2 days.

It is recommended to repeat the course of treatment after 10-15 days (after consulting a doctor). During the year, 3-4 courses should be conducted.

Children

The drug should be used in children from 3 years of age as prescribed by a doctor.

Overdose

Failure to comply with the recommended doses and prolonged use causes a feeling of bitterness in the mouth, unpleasant sensations in the liver area. Therapy is symptomatic.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible; heartburn; increased blood pressure; photosensitivity (UV radiation should be avoided during treatment); irritation of kidney tissue, manifested by pain in the lower back and at the end of urination.

Expiration date

2 years.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 ºС, out of the reach of children.
