Indications for use

For fixation of the affected area of the muscle or joint, as well as temporary (up to 12 hours) relief of acute and chronic pain. For inflammation of joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons caused by trauma, sprains, dislocations, bruises, neuralgia (inflammation of nerve endings), myalgia (inflammation of muscles) in adults and children over 12 years of age.

Composition

Components: lidocaine 4% (2.91 mg/cm2 (mg/cm2)), menthol 1% (0.72 mg/cm2 (mg/cm2));

Auxiliary ingredients: aluminum glycinate, glycerin, kaolin, methylparaben, polyacrylic acid, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, propylparaben, povidone, sodium polyacrylate, tartaric acid, titanium dioxide, purified water.

Method of application

For external use only. Clean and dry the skin at the site of pain and apply the patch, having previously released the protective film. The time of use of one patch is usually 12 hours. Apply 1 patch 2 times a day in the morning and evening.

Application scheme:

1. Remove the transparent protective film from the patch.
2. Apply the patch to the affected area as directed.
3. Smooth to prevent wrinkles and air from getting under the patch.

Reservation

The medical device is not intended for use. Do not apply to areas of skin with thick hair. Do not allow the surface of the patch to come into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes.

You should stop using the patch and consult a doctor: if the skin condition worsens (appearance of a rash, itching or severe skin irritation), if pain persists for 3 days or if symptoms reappear after a short-term improvement.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components of the patch. The ingredients of the patch do not enter the systemic bloodstream, but it is not recommended for use in cases of gastric or duodenal ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, a history of bronchial asthma, heart failure, severe forms of liver and kidney failure. lactation, children under 12 years of age.

Do not use on open wounds or areas of skin with pathological changes, such as eczema, acne, dermatitis, inflammation or infections of various origins.

ARGETT Analgesic Patch with Lidocaine should be used with caution in severe cardiac, renal and hepatic insufficiency.

Side effect

The patch contains propylene glycol, which may cause skin irritation. It also contains methylparaben and propylparaben, which may cause allergic reactions, and these effects may be delayed. One of the metabolites of lidocaine, 2,6-xylidine, has been shown to be genotoxic and carcinogenic in rats. Secondary metabolites have also been shown to have mutagenic effects. The clinical significance of this is unknown and therefore efficacy can only be justified if there is a therapeutic benefit to the patient.

Packaging

1 patch (10 cm × 15 cm) in a sachet, 3 sachets in a cardboard box.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in a dry place protected from light and out of the reach of children. After first opening the sachet, use the patch within one month.

Expiration date

3 years.
