Features

The solution is ideal for wearing both soft and hard contact lenses throughout the day. Hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) contained in "Artelak® Splash" is a natural moisturizing agent with a high water-binding capacity. "Artelak® Splash" moisturizes the eyes for a long time and helps stabilize the tear film to ensure a healthy ocular surface.

Recommendations for use

For immediate relief and hydration for mild to moderate dry eyes caused by

lifestyle and environmental factors, such as prolonged computer use and, as a result, infrequent blinking, being in an air-conditioned room, cigarette smoke, strong wind; systemic diseases, eye surgery, or taking certain medications, such as birth control pills, antihistamines, beta-blockers, antispasmodics, and diuretics.

To relieve discomfort when wearing hard or soft contact lenses.

Composition

1 ml of solution contains: hyaluronic acid in the form of sodium salt (sodium hyaluronate) – 2.4 mg, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, water for injection.

Contains no preservatives.

Method of application

It is recommended to instill Artelak® Splash into the conjunctival sac of each eye - one drop as needed.

Before each use, remove the white translucent protective cap. Do not touch the tip of the bottle with your fingers. Place the bottle with the tip facing down and press the pump mechanism several times until a drop appears. Place your thumb on the ergonomic support and use your other fingers to grasp the bottom of the bottle. Place two fingers on the bottom of the bottle. To drip the solution, tilt your head back slightly, use the finger of your free hand to slightly pull back your lower eyelid, hold the bottle vertically above your eye with the tip facing down and press the pump mechanism lightly to drip. Close your eyes and move them slowly in all directions to distribute the liquid over the surface of the eye.

If soft and hard contact lenses are worn, Artelak® Splash can be instilled into the conjunctival sac without removing the lenses.

Precautions

Do not let the tip of the bottle touch your eye or touch it with your fingers to avoid contaminating the solution.

Close the bottle with the cap after each use.

Do not use the drug if the bottle is damaged.

In case of combined use with ophthalmic drugs, it is recommended to observe a pause of at least 15 minutes between the administration of Artelak® Splash solution and the use of eye drops.

Eye ointments should always be used after the administration of Artelak® Splash solution.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the solution (local allergic reactions occurring in isolated cases). In such cases, the use of the drug should be discontinued.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature of +1 to +25 °C out of the reach of children.

Expiration date

2 years in closed original packaging; After opening the bottle – 6 months.
