Description

Pharmacological properties

Choleretic agent. Used for the treatment of liver and biliary tract diseases. The drug enhances bile secretion; normalizes biochemical parameters of bile and blood. Has a diuretic effect, reduces the level of nitrogen-containing substances (urea, creatinine) and the level of total blood cholesterol.

Indication

Dyskinesia of the biliary tract of the hypotonic-hypokinetic type, cholecystitis, chronic hepatitis, chronic intoxication (hepatotoxic substances, nitro compounds, alkaloids, heavy metal salts, etc.), renal failure.

Application

Children aged 6-12 years are prescribed 1 capsule 3 times a day, over 12 years and adults - 2-3 capsules 3 times a day. The drug is taken 15-30 minutes before meals. The duration of the treatment course is 2-4 weeks. After 1-2 months, the course of treatment can be repeated.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the drug, obstruction of the biliary tract, breastfeeding, acute inflammatory and pronounced dystrophic processes in the liver.

Side effects

With prolonged use of the drug in high doses, diarrhea may develop.

Interactions

With simultaneous use of the drug with hypoazotemic and hypocholesterolemic agents, the effect may be enhanced.

Overdose

Diarrhea is possible.

Storage conditions

In a dry, dark place at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
