Recommendations for use
Artimar is recommended to normalize the functioning of joints and bones in acute and chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system, such as:
- inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system (arthritis, tendonitis, tendovaginitis);
- degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the joints (coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis, spondyloarthrosis and others);
- diseases accompanied by back pain;
- osteochondrosis and osteochondropathy;
- autoimmune joint damage;
- as a chondroprotector to prevent joint damage during intense exercise (sports, heavy work).
Dry extract from the roots of Harpagophytum procumbens (extractum Harpagophytum procumbens siccum) (5:1) has an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, which is due to the complex action of active substances that inhibit inflammatory mediators (cytokines), as well as mediators of cartilage destruction: TNF-α, IL-1β and elastase, contribute to the suppression of matrix metalloproteinases in chondrocytes, and prevent the formation of nitric oxide (NO), which slows down the development of inflammatory processes.
Undenatured cartilage collagen type II is a glycosylated form of undenatured collagen obtained from chicken breast cartilage. Undenatured collagen type II retains the three-dimensional natural configuration of the molecule itself and the presence of active epitopes (specific parts of the antigen to which antibodies bind). Undenatured collagen type II inhibits the action of T-killer cells, which, due to a violation of the immune response, attack the body's own collagen, contributing to inflammation. Taking undenatured collagen orally reduces the autoimmune response to the body's own collagen type II, which leads to a decrease in inflammation in degenerative and autoimmune diseases of the joints. Collagen type II, with prolonged use, supports the cartilage tissue of the joints, ensures their mobility and flexibility, and reduces discomfort. Undenatured type II collagen promotes the formation of specialized regulatory T lymphocytes (T-regulators) that are capable of producing anti-inflammatory cytokines, such as interleukin-10 (IL-10), interleukin-4 (IL-4), and transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β). These cytokines are able to penetrate the synovial fluid of the joint through the circulatory system of the synovium and subchondral bone. Anti-inflammatory cytokines IL-10, IL-4, TGF-β are able to suppress inflammation and improve cartilage metabolism. IL-10 affects the receptors of macrophages and synoviocytes, inhibiting the release of interleukin-1 (IL-1). TGF-β stimulates the synthesis of the intercellular substance (matrix) of cartilage by suppressing the catabolic activity of chondrocytes and activating the anabolic function and proliferation of chondrocytes. In addition, IL-10 and TGF-β contribute to increased production of interleukin-4 (IL-4). This contributes to the switching of chondrocyte metabolism towards the synthesis of extracellular matrix components.
Opti MSM® Methylsulfonylmethane is a patented and purified form of methylsulfonylmethane through a four-stage distillation process. Methylsulfonylmethane plays an important role in maintaining the elasticity and flexibility of connective tissue, has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect in musculoskeletal pathologies, increases physical endurance, and significantly reduces muscle discomfort after physical exertion and sports. Methylsulfonylmethane is involved in the formation of connective tissue, collagen biosynthesis, which contributes to skin elasticity and muscle strengthening, helps to heal wounds more quickly, and has a positive effect on the condition of the skin and hair.
Method of administration and doses
Adults should take 2 capsules twice a day, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, with sufficient drinking water.

Contraindication
