Automatic forearm blood pressure monitor - a tonometer for non-invasive measurement of systolic (upper) and diastolic (lower) blood pressure and pulse rate in humans using the oscillometry method. It consists of a cuff, sensors and an electronic unit. The cuff is placed on the forearm and is automatically inflated by a compressor, the sensors measure the blood pressure flowing through the artery, and the electronic unit processes the data received from the sensors and displays the measurement results on the display.
