Features of the blood pressure monitor

• Intellisense intelligent control technology manages the measurement process like a doctor, taking into account the individual characteristics of each user, which allows you to take measurements as comfortably and quickly as possible. The device measures blood pressure twice during one measurement (when air is pumped into the cuff and when it is released), which is a guarantee of absolute accuracy even in the case of heart rhythm disturbances (arrhythmias).
• The graphic indicator of blood pressure (BP) level in OMRON blood pressure monitors informs the user about the state of BP, according to the norms of international BHS protocols and WHO standards. OMRON monitors are not guided by the pressure norms in the doctor's office (140/90), but by the criteria intended for home measurements (135/85). When air is supplied to the cuff, the pressure is distributed unevenly, and the artery is not fully compressed. To obtain accurate results, it is necessary that the area of the artery that the cuff compresses is completely covered. To achieve this goal, OMRON uses a special fan-shaped cuff, which ensures uniform pressure distribution over the entire area of the artery under the cuff. This ensures an accurate result and minimizes pain from squeezing the arm with the cuff.

• Arrhythmia indicator: If an irregular heartbeat is detected during measurement but the result is valid, it is displayed on the screen along with the arrhythmia indicator.
