Active ingredients: pumpkin seed oil extract — 200 mg, stinging nettle root oil extract — 150 mg, vitamin E acetate (DL-alpha-tocopherol acetate) — 100 mg, zinc sulfate heptahydrate — 100 mg.
Suppository base: polyethylene glycol - 1500.
General properties
Pumpkin seed extract (Cucurbita pepo) contains cucurbitin, a high content of tocopherols (α-, β-, γ- and δ-) and carotenoids, fatty acids and their derivatives, which exhibit pronounced antioxidant properties, inhibit lipid peroxidation processes in biological membranes, are characterized by reducing, antioxidant and immunomodulating properties and contribute to the normalization of the functional state of the prostate, enhancing sexual function. Pumpkin seeds are also a source of zinc, which plays an important role in the functioning of the genitourinary system in men, contributes to the normalization of the functional state of the prostate gland in adenoma and enhancing sexual function.
Stinging nettle root extract (Urtica dioica) – contains flavonoids, chlorophyll, tannin, vitamins (K, C, B, carotenoids), phenolic compounds, fatty acids, polysaccharides, trace elements (iron, calcium, copper, phosphorus, etc.).
Stinging nettle root extract (Urtica dioica) acts on enzymes that play an important role in the metabolism of androgens in the prostate gland. Nettle extract inhibits the aromatase enzyme. Aromatase catalyzes the metabolism of testosterone into 17 β-estradiol. Estrogens play an important role in the pathogenesis of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Nettle extract also has anti-inflammatory and anti-edema properties. Recommendations for use
