Composition
active ingredient: liquid extract (1:9.1) from a mixture of medicinal plant raw materials: rhizome flakes (Acorus calamus rhizomata) — 0.651 mg, rhizomes with roots of safflower-like Leuzea (large-headed) (Rhizomata cum radicibus Leuzeae сarthamoides) — 0.06 mg, yarrow herb (Millefolii herba) — 0.87 mg, wormwood (Absinthii herba) — 0.129 mg, mint leaves (Menthae piperitae folium) — 0.27 mg, trifoliate bean leaves (Menyanthidis trifoliatae folium) — 0.129 mg, linden flowers (Tiliae flos) — 0.756 mg, fennel fruits (Anethi graveolentis fructus) — 0.369 mg, oak bark (Quercus cortex) — 0.066 mg, (extractant ethanol 40%) — 30 μl;
excipients: sugar, color, ethanol 96%, purified water.

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics.
The pharmacological properties of the balm are due to the action of the components that make up its composition. Vigor Balm contains essential oils, tannins, flavonoids, carotene, organic acids, lactones, phytoncides. The drug has an adaptogenic, anti-stress, anti-toxic, anti-inflammatory effect, improves mental and physical performance, promotes digestion, normalizes the functions of the cardiovascular system. Increases the body's resistance to various endo- and exotoxic factors, hypoxia, activates the reticulo-endothelial system, has a certain immunocorrective effect and anti-allergic properties. Does not have a negative effect on vital organs and systems.
Indication
Physical and emotional overload, stress, astheno-vegetative syndrome (increased fatigue, decreased performance, neurasthenia, sleep disorders). Diseases requiring correction of immune status, convalescence period after severe infectious diseases, chronic diseases of the digestive tract. The balm is prescribed as a prophylactic agent for people who work under conditions of exposure to chemical, radiation and temperature factors.
Contraindication
Individual intolerance to the components of the drug. Alcoholism, severe forms of ischemic heart disease and essential hypertension, severe liver and kidney dysfunction. Hypersensitivity to plants of the Asteraceae family (Compositae). Pollinosis. Increased acidity of gastric juice. Gastric and duodenal ulcers, cholelithiasis; history of bleeding from the pelvic organs; anemia; epilepsy. Increased blood clotting, tendency to thrombosis. Spasmophilia, bronchial asthma.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Reduces the effectiveness of antacids, H2-receptor blockers (ranitidine, famotidine).
Application features
The medicinal product contains 34.5% (v/v) ethanol (alcohol), i.e. 5.4–8.1 g/dose, which is equivalent to 250 ml of beer, 130 ml of wine per dose.
This amount of alcohol can affect the effects of other medications.
The balm contains sugar, so it is prescribed with caution to people with diabetes.
Use with caution in patients with gastroesophageal reflux (due to possible occurrence and/or exacerbation of heartburn).
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Contraindicated.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
During the period of use of the drug, it is forbidden to drive a car or operate potentially dangerous mechanisms.
Method of administration and doses
The drug is prescribed for adults. Take 20–30 ml orally 2–3 times a day with meals. The course of treatment is usually 7–14 days, but can be extended up to 30 days if prescribed by a doctor.
Children
Do not use in children.
Overdose
Increased manifestations of adverse reactions, dizziness, tachycardia, pain in the heart area.
If the dose is significantly exceeded, alcohol intoxication may occur, which requires discontinuation of the drug and symptomatic therapy.
With prolonged use of the drug in doses exceeding the recommended ones: increased blood pressure, headache, development of alcohol dependence.
Prolonged use of the balm can cause so-called wormwood epilepsy; absinthe, contained in wormwood, with prolonged use can cause intestinal atony and contact dermatitis.
Side effects
With individual intolerance to the components of the drug, allergic reactions are possible.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue: hyperemia, skin rashes, urticaria, itching, skin edema. In such cases, the balm should be discontinued.
Gastrointestinal: nausea, vomiting.
