Benzohexonium-Health solution for injection 2.5% ampoule 1 ml No. 10

Benzohexonium-Health injection solution is used for the following indications:
for controlled arterial hypotension; hypertensive crisis (including those complicated by left ventricular failure); peripheral vascular spasms (endarteritis, intermittent claudication).Composition
1 ml of solution contains (active ingredient) benzohexonium 25 mg.
The excipient is water for injection.
Contraindication
hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; arterial hypotension, hypovolemia and shock, pheochromocytoma, myocardial infarction in the acute stage, ischemic stroke (up to 2 months), thrombosis (including cerebral arteries), glaucoma, hepatic and / or renal failure, degenerative changes in the central nervous system.Method of application
Administer intramuscularly, intravenously or subcutaneously. The dosage regimen is individual due to the large individual variability of patient reactions.
Before starting therapy, it is necessary to conduct a test for individual sensitivity, for which ½ of the average dose should be administered (by the selected route of administration) and the patient's condition should be monitored.
Adults
Controlled hypotension: administer 1-1.5 ml (25-37.5 mg) over 2 minutes.
Hypertensive crisis. For relief, administer 0.5-1 ml (12.5-25 mg) intramuscularly or subcutaneously. If necessary, repeated injections can be performed (3-4 times a day).
Spasms of peripheral vessels: administer intramuscularly or subcutaneously 0.25-0.5 ml (6.25-12.5 mg) 1 hour before meals 2-4 times a day. Treatment is carried out in courses of 2-4-6 weeks with breaks of 1-3 weeks.
Maximum doses for adults for intramuscular and subcutaneous administration: single dose - 3 ml (75 mg), daily dose - 12 ml (300 mg).
Since the effect of benzohexonium gradually decreases with repeated administration, treatment should be started with small doses and then the doses should be gradually increased.
Children
In children in emergency cases, administer intramuscularly or intravenously. Administer intravenously slowly (over 6-8 minutes), dissolving in 10-20 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride or glucose solution. Single doses for children: up to 2 years - 0.04-0.08 ml/kg (1-2 mg/kg), 2-4 years - 0.02-0.08 ml/kg (0.5 2 mg/kg), from 5 years - 0.02 ml/kg (0.5 mg/kg).
