Composition
active ingredients: 1 ml (18 drops) contains: molybdenum 0.1902 mg (as ammonium molybdate tetrahydrate 0.35 mg); vanadium 0.1219 mg (as ammonium monovanadate 0.28 mg); boron 0.1049 mg (as boric acid 0.6 mg); cobalt 0.0248 mg (as cobalt (II) chloride hexahydrate 0.1 mg); copper 0.2545 mg (as copper sulfate pentahydrate 1 mg); iron 2.009 mg (as iron (II) sulfate heptahydrate 10 mg); magnesium 0.4044 mg (as magnesium sulfate heptahydrate 4.1 mg); manganese 0.3055 mg (as manganese sulfate monohydrate 0.94 mg); nickel 0.1087 mg (as nickel (II) sulfate hexahydrate 0.4865 mg); fluorine 0.0904 mg (as sodium fluoride 0.2 mg); zinc 1.137 mg (as zinc sulfate heptahydrate 5 mg);

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
The drug contains an aqueous solution of mineral compounds and trace elements, incorporated into molecules of organic substances through coordination bonds. Trace elements play an important role in maintaining the biological balance of the body. Most of them are primarily found in cells as cofactors of enzymes, ensuring their catalytic activity, as well as stabilizing the structures of non-enzymatic macromolecules and normalizing the level of vitamins and hormones in the human body.
Micronutrient deficiencies can also develop in healthy people, for example at a certain age (adolescents, the elderly) or as a result of using more micronutrients during special physiological states (during pregnancy or breastfeeding). Some diseases and treatments are also common causes of micronutrient deficiencies, leading to various clinical symptoms. Even a slight micronutrient deficiency can have a negative impact on the state of the immune system, physical condition, general condition, recovery and recovery from illness or surgery. Beres Plus® drops contain the most important micronutrients. The purpose of the drug is to meet the body's needs for micronutrients that cannot be met in other dosage forms for oral use.
Pharmacokinetics
The active substances of the drug Beres Plus® Drops are well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, so their biological use is ensured. Pharmacokinetic studies were conducted using isotope methods in dogs. The retention of trace elements in the body as a whole after 72 hours shows that the absorption of trace elements was as follows: very high for iron (30% of the retention of trace elements in the body as a whole); high for zinc (5%), cobalt (6%) and molybdenum (4%); relatively low for manganese (2%) and nickel (1%).
According to existing preclinical data, the clinical use of the drug is safe.
Indication
Micronutrient deficiencies or pathological conditions that require additional mineral supplementation:
to support the immune system, the body's resistance or in cases of its decrease, for example, with a cold or flu;
in case of malnutrition (for example, special diets, including weight loss diets, in the case of vegetarian diets), as well as with increased physical activity;
in case of increased fatigue, lack of appetite, lethargy, weakness, insomnia, as well as to accelerate rehabilitation after illnesses and surgical interventions;
as an additional therapy to improve the general condition and well-being of patients with cancer.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients (e.g. allergy to metals), severe renal failure, as well as diseases associated with impaired iron and copper metabolism (including hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, Wilson's disease).
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
An interval of at least 1 hour must be observed between the use of Beresh Plus® Drops and the use of other medications. To avoid overdose or antagonistic interactions, the drops should not be used simultaneously with other drugs containing trace elements.
At least 2 hours should elapse between the use of medications containing penicillamine, bisphosphonates, fluoroquinolones, tetracyclines and the use of the drug Beresh Plus® Drops (due to physicochemical interaction, the absorption of the drug may change).
It is not recommended to take the drug with milk or coffee, as this impairs the absorption of its active ingredients.
With simultaneous use of antacids containing aluminum, calcium, magnesium, iron absorption is reduced.
Application features
Use with milk or coffee is not recommended because the absorption of its active ingredients is impaired. When the drug is added to certain types of tea, the solution may darken. This phenomenon is safe and is due to the tannin content (tannic acid) contained in tea. When a few drops of lemon juice, lemon juice substitute or ascorbic acid are added, the color does not occur.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the drug can be used in recommended daily doses (after consulting a doctor).
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
When used in recommended doses, no negative effects are observed.
Method of administration and doses
Take orally during meals. Add a single dose of drops to 50 ml of liquid (e.g. water, fruit juice, syrup, fruit tea). It is recommended to use together with vitamin C (50 mg) with each dose of the drug.
In case of prophylactic use:
With a body weight of 10-20 kg – 5 drops 2 times a day.
With a body weight of 20-40 kg - 10 drops 2 times a day.
With a body weight of over 40 kg – 20 drops 2 times a day.
When used to treat the conditions listed in the indications:
With a body weight of 10-20 kg – 10 drops 2 times a day.
With a body weight of 20-40 kg – 20 drops 2 times a day.
With a body weight of over 40 kg – 20 drops 3 times a day.
When used to improve the general condition and well-being of patients with cancer whose body weight exceeds 40 kg, daily doses exceeding the above may be used on the recommendation of a doctor, but not more than 120 drops per day. In such cases, it is recommended to divide the daily dose into 4-5 equal doses.
When used prophylactically at recommended doses, the optimal effect is expected to be achieved after approximately 6 weeks of continuous therapy. This effect can be maintained for the desired period with continued use of the drug in prophylactic doses (e.g. during the winter cold and flu season).
The drug should be used continuously in recommended doses if symptoms of the disease are present.
If complaints recur, the course of treatment can be repeated.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.
Children
The drug should be used in children weighing more than 10 kg. However, if the child weighs less than 20 kg, the issue of using the drug is decided individually with the pediatrician, based on an assessment of the benefit/risk ratio for the child.
Overdose
A study conducted on healthy volunteers showed that even a dose of 120 drops 3 times a day is well tolerated and safe. However, when using doses exceeding the recommended ones, nausea and stomach pain may occur, which quickly pass. In some cases, allergic reactions are possible. In this case, it is necessary to stop using the drug and consult a doctor.
Side effects
Very rarely, mainly if the drops are taken on an empty stomach or with less than the recommended amount of fluid, mild and temporary side effects may occur, which are listed below.
Gastrointestinal: gastrointestinal disorders, including mild nausea, abdominal pain, constipation, bitter taste in the mouth, discoloration of tooth enamel in children, which do not require any measures and pass quickly.
Immune system disorders: hypersensitivity reactions.
Expiration date
4 years.
After first opening the bottle, the drug is suitable for use for 6 months.
