Composition

active ingredient: bile of cattle and pigs;

100 ml of solution contain: bile of cattle and pigs – 88.85 ml;

excipients: ethanol 96%, formalin, furatsilin solution in 70% alcohol (1:1500), fragrance.

Dosage form

The solution is topical.

Main physical and chemical properties: liquid from yellow-brown to dark brown with a greenish tint or from light green to dark green with a brownish tint, with a specific odor. The presence of flaky or fine-grained sediment is allowed.

Pharmacotherapeutic group

Means used locally for joint and muscle pain. ATX code M02A X10.

Pharmacological properties

The drug has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, resorbable and emulsifying effects.

Indication

Spondyloarthrosis and spondyloarthritis, acute and chronic arthrosis, arthritis, bursitis, tendovaginitis, secondary radiculitis, heel spurs. The drug can also be used for bruises, sprains of ligaments, muscles, subcutaneous hematomas, conditions after bone fractures without violation of the integrity of soft tissues, phantom pain after limb amputation, cicatricial changes of the skin.

Contraindication

Violation of the integrity of the skin, inflammatory process of the skin and subcutaneous tissue in the application area, pustular skin diseases, lymphadenitis, lymphangitis, erysipelas.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

There are no data on interactions with other drugs.

Application features

When applying compresses, it is unacceptable to use polyethylene, nylon and other synthetic materials.

In case of skin irritation by bile and if it is necessary to continue using the drug, the duration of application is 6-10 hours per day. After removing the compress, wash the affected area with warm water and lubricate with an indifferent ointment.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

There is no experience with the use of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

No effect.

Method of administration and doses

The drug should be used in complex therapy regimens together with other medications.

Apply externally (shake before use) in the form of compresses. Soak 2-6 layers of gauze with bile, apply to the affected area, cover with a thin layer of cotton wool and waxed paper, and then fix with a thin bandage. When dry, moisten the gauze napkin with room temperature water and fix again with a bandage. Duration of application of the compress is 24 hours. Change the compresses daily, as well as change the fixing bandage. Depending on the nature and severity of the disease, the course of treatment is 6 - 30 days. Repeated courses are after 1-2 months.

Children.

There is no experience with the use of the drug in the treatment of children.

Overdose

There is no data on drug overdose.

Side effects

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: skin irritation. In case of severe skin manifestations, discontinue use of the drug. In such cases, the next use of the drug is possible no earlier than after 15-30 days.

Expiration date

2 years 6 months.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children.
