Bimoptic Rompharm eye drops solution 0.3 mg/ml bottle 3 ml

Bimoptic Rompharm eye drops are indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in adult patients with chronic open-angle glaucoma and intraocular hypertension (as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy to beta-blockers).

Composition

Active ingredient: bimatoprost;

1 ml of solution contains - 0.3 mg of bimatoprost;

Excipients: benzalkonium chloride, sodium phosphate heptahydrate; citric acid monohydrate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide 1 M or hydrochloric acid 1 M; purified water.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients included in the preparation, including benzalkonium chloride.

Method of application

Adults: 1 drop instilled into the affected eye(s) once a day in the evening.

The dose should not exceed 1 injection once a day, as more frequent use of the drug may reduce the effect of reducing elevated intraocular pressure.

Application features

Pregnant women

Bimatoprost should not be used during pregnancy unless clearly necessary.

Children

Contraindicated.

Drivers

Bimatoprost has a minor influence on the speed of reaction when driving or operating other mechanisms. As with the use of other eye drops, if temporary blurred vision occurs after instillation, the patient should wait until the vision clears before driving or operating complex mechanisms.

Overdose

There have been no reports of overdose with Bimikan Eco. When used topically as eye drops, overdose is unlikely.

In case of overdose, supportive and symptomatic therapy is required.
