BioGaia ORS is recommended for diarrhea, vomiting, acetonemic syndrome and other conditions accompanied by dehydration. BioGaia ORS is quickly absorbed by the body and helps restore the physiological balance of intestinal microflora, improve digestion and provide replenishment of fluid and electrolyte losses in dehydration, intoxication of any origin (elevated body temperature, infectious diseases, food poisoning).

L. reuteri helps break down lactose, producing lactic and acetic acids. By excreting antimicrobial compounds, in particular, retinocyclin and reuterin, which are unique to L. reuteri, the growth of pathogenic microorganisms in the digestive tract is inhibited.

Method of administration and doses

Dissolve 1 sachet in 250 ml of cooled boiled or bottled water. It is important to use at least the specified amount of water to prevent excess salts from entering the child's body. Stir well until completely dissolved. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, follow the following recommendations for the dosage of BioGai ORS. The first stage of taking BioGai ORS is 4-8 hours.

* The volume of BioGay ORS solution is calculated at a dosage of 50-100 ml/kg of body weight.

When vomiting, take the solution in small portions - often in small portions. For a child, calculate the amount of solution needed for an hour, and let him drink 10-15 ml every 5-10 minutes. using a pipette or teaspoon. The second stage of taking BioGaia ORS involves taking 50-100 ml after each episode of loose stools, but not less than 50 ml / kg of body weight per day until the symptoms stop. BioGaia ORS has a neutral taste, which makes it easier to use the solution in young children. To add flavor to the solution, you can add 0.5 teaspoon of fruit juice per 250 ml portion of BioGaia ORS. The solution can be stored for 3 hours at room temperature or 6 hours in the refrigerator.
