Composition

Active ingredient: Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis (100 million CFU of viable bacteria in 5 drops), excipients: sunflower oil, caprylic triglycerides, anti-caking agent: amorphous silicon dioxide. GMO-free.

Does not contain lactose and milk proteins.

Properties

L. reuteri Protectis are natural microorganisms that were first isolated from breast milk and are normally present in the human body throughout the entire gastrointestinal tract.

L. reuteri Protectis colonizes the epithelium and multiplies in all parts of the gastrointestinal tract, starting from the oral cavity.

L. reuteri is resistant to the action of gastric juice, bile salts, and enzymes of the upper small intestine.

L. reuteri Protectis supports and regulates the physiological balance of intestinal microflora and actively participates in digestive processes.

L. reuteri Protectis synthesizes lactic, acetic acids and specific substances for this type of lactobacilli - reuterin and reuterocyclin, which inhibit the growth of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms in the digestive tract. Strengthening the natural defense of the digestive system against pathogenic microorganisms, they create favorable conditions for the formation of a normal intestinal microbiocenosis.

L. reuteri Protectis helps reduce the intensity of intestinal colic and the duration of crying during attacks of intestinal colic in infants, as well as the frequency and duration of attacks.

L. reuteri Protectis has antagonistic activity against H. pylori, and also reduces adverse reactions to antibacterial therapy in gastric and duodenal ulcers.

The immunostimulating activity of L. reuteri Protectis is associated with the ability to activate the intestinal immune system as the body's first line of defense against infections by increasing the number of CD4+ cells (a specific subset of T lymphocytes).

Applicable for:

restoration of the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract from the first days of life;

prevention of attacks of intestinal colic and increased gas formation, regurgitation and constipation in infants and young children;

prevention of complications from the gastrointestinal tract after therapy with antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents;

protecting the body from infections (with reduced immunity).

In complex treatment:

allergic conditions (in particular, diathesis in children, atopic dermatitis);

bacterial and fungal infections in premature newborns;

Helicobacter infection.

Method of administration and doses

Use for infants (children from birth to one year) and young children (children aged one to three years) and older 5 drops diluted in a teaspoon of drinking water or milk, or baby food, or other liquid, or food, 1-2 times a day during meals. The course of consumption is determined by the doctor individually. Shake well before use! Before use and when using any medications, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Attention! To dilute the drops, use drinking water of guaranteed safety and quality.

Expiration date

Storage conditions

Store in the manufacturer's packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºС in a dry, dark and inaccessible place for children. After opening the bottle, store for 3 months at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºС.
