BioGaia Protectis tablets No. 20

Composition

1 tablet contains at least 100 million CFU of viable bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17938 (L. reuteri Protectis ®);

excipients: isomalt, xylitol, sucrose and fatty acid esters, hydrogenated palm oil, natural lemon-lime flavor, citric acid.

Properties

Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis ® supports and regulates the physiological balance of intestinal microflora and the digestive process. L. reuteri promotes the breakdown of lactose. At the same time, they produce lactic and acetic acids and contribute to the formation of the substance reuterin and other antimicrobial substances that have antagonistic activity against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms in the digestive tract. Thus, L. reuteri increases the natural defenses of the digestive system, creating favorable conditions for the formation of a normal intestinal microbiocenosis.

The immunostimulating effect of L. reuteri is associated with the ability to activate the intestinal immune system as the body's first line of defense against infections.

When chewing a BioGai tablet
Protectis with strawberry flavor probiotic action begins in the mouth. L. reuteri are resistant to gastric juice and bile salts.

BioGaia Protectis does not contain sugar, lactose, or milk protein.

Recommendations for use

BioGaia Protectis is used to restore microflora in:

• diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
• treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection;
• therapy with antibiotics, cytostatics, corticosteroids, antifungal and antiviral drugs;
• allergic conditions (in particular, diathesis in children, atopic dermatitis);
• intestinal disorders during adaptation (moving, starting kindergarten, school);
• reduced immunity.

Method of administration and doses

Adults and children over 3 years of age should take 1 tablet per day, regardless of meals. It is recommended to chew the tablet. The course of consumption is determined by the doctor. Before starting use, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

No side effects have been identified.

Interaction with other tools and other types of interaction

BioGaia Protectis can be taken simultaneously with antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components.

Storage conditions

Store in the manufacturer's packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C in a dry, dark place out of the reach of children.

Shelf life - 18 months.
