Black cumin seeds 100 g

Black cumin seeds 100g
Black cumin has long been used in Arabic and Indian cuisine, and is highly regarded in Egypt, where it is called the "gold of the pharaohs" for its unique properties for human health. The seeds of this plant contain over 100 active substances, only some of which have been studied by scientists. It is rich in vitamins A, E, F, B1, B3, B6, beta-carotene, biotin, numerous trace elements and antioxidants. One of its components - thymoquinone - has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and protective properties, as well as a potential anti-cancer effect. This substance acts like aspirin, helps to cope with anemia, increasing the level of hemoglobin and red blood cells, provides antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and antiparasitic properties, and is also a powerful immunomodulator.
Consuming black cumin seeds prevents the formation of kidney stones, protects the liver from damage. In addition, the medicinal seeds counteract baldness, preventing hair loss, and accelerate wound healing.
Clinical studies show the effectiveness of black cumin seeds in allergies (including allergic rhinitis, atopic eczema and bronchial asthma). Black cumin oil helps eliminate parasites from the body, and the seeds are useful for fighting infection, because they destroy both adult parasites and their eggs, as proven by Turkish scientists in 2005.
Thymoquinone has a healing effect on the stomach, protecting it from damage caused by ethanol, relieves reflux symptoms, which is why black cumin seeds are often used in the Middle East for stomach diseases. This substance reduces the effects of oxidative stress, helps maintain the integrity of pancreatic cells, reduces glucose levels and increases insulin secretion, which is why black cumin is an anti-diabetic product.
