Instructions for Boosti gel Ag+ in a 100 g tube
Composition
Low molecular weight hydrolyzed collagen, high molecular weight sodium hyaluronate, silver sulfadiazine, decamethoxine, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide (Aerosil), poloxamer, hypromellose, purified water.
Recommendations for use
The product is used in the complex treatment of simple non-penetrating wounds (damage to only the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and muscles). Namely:
- freshly infected wounds (up to 3 days from the moment of injury) or wounds with an increased risk of infection;
- postoperative (non-infected) wounds;
- ulcers of mixed etiology;
- bedsores;
- burns of I-III degrees;
- frostbite.
Method of application
After cleaning the wound from contamination with 0.9% sodium chloride solution or antiseptic solution, apply the gel in a thin layer (2-4 mm) to the damaged area 2 times a day. It can be used under a sterile bandage or in an open way. In severe cases, the frequency of use can be increased to 4 times a day. Treatment usually lasts 10-14 days. Before each subsequent application of the gel, the affected surface must be washed with 0.9% sodium chloride solution or antiseptic solution to remove gel residues and wound exudate. Apply until the wound is completely healed. To accelerate the epithelialization of damaged tissue, the medical product "Boosti Spray Amino" can be additionally used.
Application features
Avoid contact of the medical device with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, rinse with plenty of water.
If, on the 7th day of using the medical device, inflammatory processes remain around the wound, you should immediately consult a doctor.
During treatment with the medical device "Boost Gel Ag+", the sensitivity of antibiotic-resistant microorganisms to antibiotics increases.
INTERACTION: Decamethoxin, which is part of the medical product, is a cationic surfactant, therefore it is incompatible with soap and other anionic compounds.
Reservation
In rare cases, some patients may have increased individual sensitivity. In such people, after using the product, a skin rash, burning sensation, dryness, itching and other symptoms of a local allergic reaction may appear. The skin may change color to gray under the influence of sunlight (argyria - pigmentation caused by silver deposition). In this case, consult your doctor.
It is forbidden to use in persons with hypersensitivity to sulfonamides or to the components of the product.
There is currently no data on the use of the medical product "Boost Gel Ag+" in children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding women.
