Composition
active ingredients: menthol (levomenthol), anise oil, pepper tincture.
5 ml of solution contain: menthol (levomenthol) 1.0 mg; anise oil 0.0035 ml; pepper tincture 0.025 ml;
excipients: ginger oil, clove oil, peppermint oil, glycerin, glucose solution, sucrose, tragacanth, benzoic acid (E 210), caramel (E 150), benzoin tincture, toluene balsam, ethanol 90%, purified water.
Dosage form
Solution for oral use.
Main physicochemical properties: dark brown syrup with the smell of ethanol and menthol.

Pharmacological properties
A combined herbal preparation used for colds and respiratory diseases. The preparation exhibits mucolytic, broncholytic, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, sedative and diaphoretic effects.
Menthol has an antispasmodic, antiseptic, local anesthetic effect, helps cleanse the respiratory tract of mucus. Anise oil has expectorant properties, antispasmodic and antibacterial effects. Pepper tincture has a distracting effect.
Indication
Symptomatic treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract accompanied by sore throat, cough, runny nose and inflammation of the mucous membranes.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Special safety precautions
Use with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus, as the drug contains sucrose, glucose. Do not use in patients with fructose, glucose-sucrose, sucrose-isomaltose intolerance.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
The drug can be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding after a doctor assesses the benefit/risk ratio.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
The drug does not have a hypnotic effect and does not affect the ability to drive or operate other mechanisms.
Method of administration and doses
Apply internally.
Adults and children over 12 years of age – 2 teaspoons (10 ml) every hour or 3 teaspoons (15 ml) every 2-3 hours.
Children aged 6-12 years - 1 teaspoon (5 ml) every hour or 2 teaspoons (10 ml) every 2-3 hours.
Children aged 3-6 years – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) every 2 hours.
Shake the bottle before use.
Do not use more than 6 doses per day. The course of treatment is 14 days.
Elderly patients should be given the same doses as adults.
Children
Contraindicated for children under 3 years of age.
Overdose
Cases of overdose have not been described.
Side effects
In individuals with individual intolerance to any component of the drug, gastrointestinal disorders, hypersensitivity reactions, including skin rashes, itching are possible.

Store out of the reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
