Composition

1 capsule contains: active ingredient: tributyrin 450 mg (mg) (corresponding to 394 mg (mg) of butyric acid); excipients: sunflower oil, vitamin E; shell: gelatin, purified water, glycerin, sorbitol, nipagin - E 218 (preservative), azorubine - E 122 (food coloring), “Cherry” flavoring.

Properties

The functional properties of the Butrycoltm dietary supplement are due to the component that is part of it.

Tributyrin is a triglyceride consisting of butyric acid and glycerol. Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid that is formed in the colon during the fermentation of fiber by microflora and performs the following functions: provides energy to the cells of the colonic mucosa, helps restore energy balance and improves metabolism in intestinal cells (colonocytes). Butyric acid is also able to improve the intestinal barrier and prevent the penetration of pathogenic bacteria from the intestinal lumen into the bloodstream.

Recommendations for use

To the diet as an additional source of butyric acid for normal colon function.

It is not a medicine.

Method of administration and doses

Adults: 1-2 capsules per day during meals. The capsules should be swallowed without chewing, with sufficient amount of drinking water.

It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.

Duration of use: 3-4 weeks. Further use and the possibility of a repeated course should be agreed with a doctor.

Reservation

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.

Contraindication

Pregnancy and lactation, increased individual sensitivity to any of the components.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25°C in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
