Composition
active ingredient: tincture of marigold flowers and flower baskets;
1 bottle contains tincture of marigold flowers and flower baskets (Calendula officinalis L.) (1:10) (extractant - ethanol 70%) - 50 ml;
excipients: none, except for the extractant.
Dosage form
Tincture.
Main physical and chemical properties: yellowish-brown liquid, with a faint specific odor, bitter taste. During storage, sediment formation is allowed.

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics.
Biologically active substances contained in marigold flowers and flower baskets (flavonoid and carotenoid glycosides, saponins, tannins, essential oil, organic acids) have antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and moderate choleretic effects.
Indication
Topically - as an antiseptic for infected (purulent) wounds, cuts, skin burns and inflammation of the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, gums (stomatitis, gingivitis), pharynx, tonsils (pharyngitis, tonsillitis); internally - as a choleretic for biliary dyskinesia, cholangitis, cholecystitis (as part of complex therapy).
Contraindication
The drug is contraindicated in case of individual hypersensitivity to biologically active substances contained in medicinal plant raw materials.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
The drug enhances the effect of other anti-inflammatory and choleretic agents (in particular, preparations based on chamomile and yarrow).
If you are taking any other medications at the same time, you should inform your doctor.

The tincture contains ethanol! It is not recommended to use the drug for a long time.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Since the medicinal product contains ethanol, it is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding to take it orally.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
When taking the tincture internally, you should refrain from driving or operating other mechanisms.
Method of administration and doses
Take the medicine orally 15–30 minutes before meals, diluting it in a small amount of warm boiled water.
Adults are recommended to use 10–20 drops of tincture 3–4 times a day for 1 month.
Children over 12 years old - at the rate of 1 drop of tincture per 1 year of life 3–4 times a day.
To rinse your mouth, dilute 1 teaspoon of tincture in a glass of warm boiled water.
The method of application for local applications depends on the nature of the skin lesion and is determined by the doctor.
The duration of the treatment course is determined individually for each patient, taking into account the nature, severity and characteristics of the course of the disease, the stability of the achieved therapeutic effect and the tolerability of the drug.
The patient should consult a doctor if the symptoms of the disease do not disappear while using the medicine or if any adverse reactions are observed.

Not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.

The drug is usually well tolerated, however, in some patients with individual hypersensitivity, allergic reactions may develop (redness of the skin, rash, itching, angioedema). When taken orally, a feeling of bitterness in the mouth, a burning sensation in the epigastric region, and abdominal pain may occur.
