Capsumen enteric-coated capsules No. 60
Instructions for use of Kapsumen enteric-coated capsules No. 60
Composition
1 enteric-coated capsule contains: main ingredient: peppermint oil – 170 mg (mg) (corresponds to 50 mg (mg) of L-menthol); excipients: soybean oil, gelatin, glycerin, purified water, polyacrylic resin, triethyl citrate, polysorbate.
Properties
Peppermint oil (Oleum Menthae piperitae), due to its L-menthol content, can help eliminate intestinal discomfort, which manifests itself as pain, cramps, bloating, and bowel movements.
The complex effect of L-menthol on the condition of the intestines includes:
- elimination of spasms, normalization of peristalsis, due to the effect on calcium channels of the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract;
- elimination of abdominal discomfort, normalization of visceral sensitivity, due to activation of TRPM8 receptors in peripheral neurons;
- promoting the normalization of intestinal microbiota by counteracting the activity of pathogenic microorganisms.
Because peppermint oil can irritate the lining of the stomach or esophagus, enteric-coated capsules are used for oral administration.
Recommendations for use
CAPSUMEN® is recommended as a dietary supplement to the diet as an additional source of L-menthol (contained in peppermint oil) to eliminate intestinal discomfort (bloating, spasms, frequent constipation, etc.) and normalize its functions (secretory, motor, and defecation) in conditions of emotional overload, with an unbalanced daily diet, with changes in diet, or when taking certain categories of medications.
