Instructions for Cardonat Kiddi capsules No. 30

Description

Dietary supplement CARDONAT KIDDY (for children from 3 years old) can be used as an additional source of amino acids carnitine, lysine and cysteine in combination with vitamins B1, B12, B6 and minerals: zinc, iodine, selenium in order to increase adaptive capabilities and general strengthening of the body, to maintain the normal functional state of the immune, cardiovascular and nervous systems, normal cognitive function of the brain, increase endurance during increased physical and psycho-emotional stress, during the recovery period after illnesses, in asthenic conditions of various origins, with poor appetite, insufficient body weight, to reduce fatigue and tiredness, normal formation of red blood cells and protect cells from oxidative stress.

Vitamins B1, B12, B6 take an active part in the metabolism of amino acids, including lysine, cysteine, and carnitine. A balanced combination of components with minerals – zinc, iodine, selenium – due to its metabolic properties helps strengthen immunity during the period of colds and maintains energy metabolism at an optimal level.

L-carnitine (levocarnitine) is a vitamin-like substance that is naturally synthesized in the liver, kidneys and brain tissue from the amino acids lysine and methionine, and is found in the blood plasma in free form and in the form of esters. L-carnitine is the main cofactor in the metabolism of fatty acids in the heart, liver and skeletal muscles, and plays the role of the only carrier of long-chain fatty acids in the mitochondria, where their beta-oxidation occurs with the subsequent formation of ATP. Under normal oxygen supply, it shifts cell metabolism to the oxidation of fatty acids as the most energy-intensive substrate, and under hypoxia, L-carnitine removes toxic metabolites of fatty acids from the mitochondria, shifting cell metabolism to the oxidation of glucose, thus exerting an antihypoxic and antitoxic effect. Levocarnitine and related substances can regulate immune circuits, and their effects on immune cell function rely on its dependent production of energy from fatty acids.

L-carnitine helps maintain normal energy metabolism in muscle cells, improves muscle recovery after exercise, helps maintain optimal development of motor functions. L-carnitine and its esters not only participate in the energy metabolism of heart muscle cells by transferring long-chain fatty acids from the cytoplasm to the mitochondria, but also exhibit other vital properties. They exhibit antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity at various levels. It has been established that L-carnitine is a direct antioxidant and removes already formed oxygen radicals, and also inhibits the generation of radicals, promotes the removal of metabolites and toxic substances from the cytoplasm, improves metabolic processes, accelerates growth, causes an increase in muscle mass, contributes to the normalization of basal metabolism, reduces signs of physical and mental overstrain, exhibits neuro-, hepato- and cardioprotective properties, stimulates cellular immunity, and increases concentration.

Particular attention is paid to the ability of L-carnitine to act as an active factor affecting the transcription of genes that control cell survival under conditions of oxidative stress and inflammation.

L-lysine – an essential amino acid – is a necessary building block for all proteins in the body, participates in all processes of assimilation and growth, promotes ossification and growth of bone tissue, stimulates cell mitosis, improves oogenesis and spermatogenesis, and has a direct antiviral effect on herpes simplex viruses. L-lysine plays an important role in calcium absorption, muscle mass growth, recovery after surgical interventions or sports injuries, as well as the body's production of hormones, enzymes and antibodies. The cause of the development of lysine deficiency can be regular stresses, which cause faster "waste" of lysine. If a stressful situation is repeated quite often within a short time, the body does not have time to replenish the reserves of the spent amino acid. The consequences of a lack of L-lysine are considered to be anemia, susceptibility to viral diseases, problems with the functioning of the male reproductive system, menstrual cycle disorders in women, hair loss, and redness of the eyes (a vascular network appears on the eye membrane).

L-cysteine is one of the most powerful antioxidants. L-cysteine is a precursor to glutathione, a substance that protects liver and brain cells from damage by certain drugs and toxic substances. L-cysteine has the ability to break down thick mucus in the respiratory tract, which is why it is often used for bronchitis and emphysema. It accelerates the recovery process in respiratory diseases and plays an important role in the activation of leukocytes and lymphocytes.

Vitamin B1 also participates in numerous body functions, including: functioning of the nervous system and muscles, the entry of electrolytes into and out of nerve and muscle cells through ion channels; numerous enzymatic processes through the coenzyme thiamine pyrophosphate, carbohydrate metabolism, and the production of hydrochloric acid, which is necessary for normal digestion.

Vitamin B6 also contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity, participates in the normal metabolism of proteins and glycogen. Vitamin B6 cannot be synthesized in the human body, therefore, it must be obtained from the diet, since its coenzyme derivative plays a vital role in the functioning of about 100 enzymes that catalyze important chemical reactions in the human body. In addition, vitamin B6 catalyzes neuromuscular processes, which are especially important in childhood with delayed mental and physical development, chronic fatigue and asthenia.

Vitamin B12 works in close partnership with other vitamins to produce components for the synthesis of DNA and RNA, as well as molecules important for maintaining the integrity of the genome. It is also necessary for maintaining the integrity of the nervous system and the synthesis of molecules involved in the biosynthesis of fatty acids and energy production.

Vitamins B1, B6 and B12 contribute to normal energy metabolism, proper functioning of the heart, nervous system and normal mental activity. Vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system, reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal formation of red blood cells.

Iodine is a vital trace element that is a part of the thyroid hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3), contributes to the normal secretion of thyroid hormones and its functioning, which is a condition for normal growth and development of children. Iodine is involved in energy metabolism, contributes to normal cognitive function of the brain and the functioning of the nervous system.

Zinc is an essential trace element that is a part of over 70 enzymes that participate in various biochemical reactions. Zinc deficiency can negatively affect the physical development of the body and the psyche.

Zinc plays an important role in supporting the immune system, helps maintain normal bones, cognitive function, vision, and healthy skin, hair, and nails.

Zinc helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

Selenium is a component of more than 30 vital biologically active compounds of the body. Selenium is a part of the active centers of enzymes of antioxidant and antiradical protection systems, as well as enzymes involved in the metabolism of nucleic acids and lipids. Selenium is a synergist of vitamin E and iodine. With selenium deficiency, iodine is poorly absorbed by the body. Selenium is a part of muscle tissue proteins, myocardial proteins, contributes to the formation of triiodothyronine (thyroid hormones), contributes to the normal functioning of the thyroid gland, the work of the immune system and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
