Ketamine is indicated for constipation.

Composition

Active ingredient: castor oil (Oleum Ricini);

1 bottle contains 30 g or 50 g or 100 g of castor oil (Oleum Ricini).

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the drug. Poisoning with fat-soluble substances (phosphorus, benzene, etc.). Gastric and duodenal ulcers, ulcerative colitis. Poisoning with fat-soluble anthelmintics, male fern extract. Acute inflammatory processes in the abdominal cavity (appendicitis, peritonitis). Uterine bleeding. Cachexia. Advanced age.

Hypersensitivity to plants of the Euphorbiaceae family, undiagnosed abdominal pain, biliary obstruction, severe dehydration.

Method of application

For oral administration. The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 15-30 g per dose. If the drug is used to cleanse the intestines before diagnostic procedures, it is advisable to take it 6 hours before the procedure.

If the symptoms of the disease do not disappear while using the medicine or any adverse reactions are observed, the patient should consult a doctor.

Pregnant women

The use of the drug is contraindicated in pregnant women. During breastfeeding, the drug can be used only if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the possible risk to the child.

Children

The drug should be used in children over 12 years of age.

Overdose

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea. Treatment is symptomatic.

Side effects

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, disturbances of water and electrolyte balance. Constipation is possible after bowel movements. With prolonged use - digestive disorders, enterocolitis, development of addiction, intestinal atony. Allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction

It is not recommended to use Ketamine simultaneously with male fern extract.
