Cefpotek 200 film-coated tablets 200 mg blister No. 20

Cefpodoxime will provide treatment for infections caused by cefpodoxime-sensitive pathogens.

Composition

Active ingredient: cefpodoxime, 1 tablet of cefpodoxime proxetil is equivalent to cefpodoxime 200 mg.

Excipients: a mixture of microcrystalline cellulose and sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, hydroxypropylcellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, titanium dioxide (E 171).

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to drugs of the cephalosporin group, penicillins or to other components of the drug.

Method of application

Tablets should be taken orally with food to enhance absorption, 200-400 mg every 12 hours.

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea.

In patients with renal insufficiency, encephalopathy may occur in case of overdose.

Cases of encephalopathy are usually reversible at low plasma levels of cefpodoxime.

Treatment: hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis.

Side effects

General disorders: fungal infections, malaise, fatigue, asthenia, fever, chest pain, back pain, chills, generalized pain, abscess, allergic reactions, facial edema, bacterial infections, localized edema, localized pain, growth of non-susceptible microorganisms.

Storage conditions

Shelf life 2 years.

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
