Composition

1 capsule contains dry standardized hydroalcoholic extract of valerian (Valeriana officinalis) - 100 mg (sesquiterpene acids such as valeric acid ≥0.3 mg); dry hydroalcoholic extract of passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) - 25 mg; dry hydroalcoholic standardized extract of hawthorn leaves and flowers (Crataegus pinnatifida) - 25 mg (flavonoids such as hyperoside ≥1.5 mg).
Excipients: lactose monohydrate; microcrystalline cellulose (filler); light magnesium carbonate (filler); colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide (filler); magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent); capsule shell: gelatin; titanium dioxide (opacifiers).

Properties

Dry hydroalcoholic standardized extract of valerian (Valeriana officinalis) contains essential oil, the main component of which is borneol and isovaleric acid ester, as well as free valeric acid and borneol, organic acids (including valeric acid >0.3 mg, which has an antispasmodic effect), tannins and other biologically active substances. Has a sedative effect, reduces tension and irritability, characteristic of mental fatigue and neurasthenia. Has an antispasmodic effect.

Dry aqueous-alcoholic extract of passionflower (Passiflora incarnate) contains biologically active substances and the flavonoid vitexin, which has a mild sedative effect on the CNS, helps normalize sleep, reduces anxiety and nervousness, has an antispasmodic effect on smooth muscles, improves heart function, and has a sedative effect.

Dry hydroalcoholic standardized extract of hawthorn leaves and flowers (Crataegus innatifida) contains flavonoids such as hyperoside >1.5 mg, choline, acetylcholine, tannins, phytosterols, etc. Due to the presence of terpene compounds and flavonoids, it exhibits an antispasmodic effect, selectively dilating the vessels of the heart and brain, has a hypotensive effect, helps normalize venous pressure, improves the function of the vascular walls. It has a mild sedative effect.

Recommendations for use

As a dietary supplement to the diet as an additional source of natural biologically active components: sesquiterpene acids (valeric, acetovaleric, hydroxyvaleric): monoterpenes (bornyl isovaleric ester); flavonoids (hyperoside, vitexin), organic acids (valeric and isovaleric), tannins to normalize sleep and the functional state of the nervous and cardiovascular systems in case of stress, nervous and mental stress, seasonal emotional disorders, in the premenstrual period, with climacteric manifestations.

Biologically active substances that make up the Central-B dietary supplement exhibit general strengthening, antispasmodic, hypotensive, and sedative properties.

Method of administration and doses

On the recommendation of a doctor, adults and children over 12 years of age should take 1–2 capsules 2 times a day, washed down with sufficient drinking water.

For sleep disorders and insomnia - 2 capsules half an hour before bedtime.

The duration of use is determined by the doctor individually.

Application features

During the period of use, caution should be exercised when performing activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a full diet.
