Composition

active ingredient: 1 ml of solution contains 10 mg of thick eucalyptus leaf extract (extractum ex folii eucalypti spissum) calculated on a 100% dry matter basis (1:15.3);

excipient: ethanol 96%.

The drug has antibacterial activity against staphylococci, including antibiotic-resistant strains.

Indication

Treatment of diseases caused by antibiotic-resistant strains of staphylococci, burn disease, trophic ulcers and long-healing ulcers of the extremities, in the complex treatment of postoperative, postpartum and other septic conditions, in the treatment of staphylococcal intestinal dysbiosis and sanitation of staphylococcal carriers, cervical erosion.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to chlorophyllipt or to other components of the drug.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

It should be taken into account that if there are hydrogen peroxide residues in the wound, Chlorophyllipt Arterium precipitates. Therefore, after washing the wound with hydrogen peroxide, its residues should be removed with a sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution. Enhances the effect of antiseptic drugs.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

The efficacy and safety of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding have not been studied, so the drug should not be used in this category of patients.

Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

Since the drug contains 96% ethanol, caution should be exercised when driving or operating other machinery.

Method of administration and doses

Adults and children over 12 years of age should use the drug internally, topically, or in enemas. Children over 12 years of age should use the drug as prescribed by a doctor.

Internally, Chlorophyllipt Arterium is used for staphylococcal carriage in the intestines and for the prevention of postoperative complications. Adults and children over 12 years of age should take 5 ml of a 1% alcohol solution diluted in 30 ml of water 3 times a day 40 minutes before meals daily. The duration of treatment is determined individually depending on the effectiveness of therapy and the severity of the disease.

For the treatment of staphylococcal carriage in the intestines, Chlorophyllipt Arterium is also prescribed in an enema (20 ml of a 1% alcohol solution diluted in 1 liter of water - this is the dose for one enema). The procedure is carried out once a day. An enema with the drug is given every 2 days. The course of treatment is 10 procedures.

For topical use (treatment of burns and trophic ulcers), dilute 1% alcohol solution with 0.25% novocaine solution in a ratio of 1:5.

When treating cervical erosion, first dry all folds of the vaginal mucosa and the vaginal part of the cervix with a swab and lubricate the cervical canal with a 1% solution of Chlorophyllipt Arterium. For vaginal douching, dilute 15 ml of a 1% alcohol solution in 1 liter of water.

The duration of the treatment course depends on the course of the disease and is determined by the doctor individually.

Children

The drug should be used in children over 12 years of age as prescribed by a doctor.

Overdose

Possible increase in adverse reactions. Treatment is symptomatic.

On the part of the immune system: when using the drug, allergic reactions are possible, including swelling of the mucous membranes, hyperemia, itching, rash.
