Instructions for use of Cholitrin tablets No. 50
Composition
1 film-coated tablet contains: bile dry extract (Bile dry ext.) - 80 mg (mg), garlic extract (Allium sativum L. ext.) - 40 mg (mg), activated carbon (Activated carbon) - 25 mg (mg), thick nettle extract (Thick Urtica dioica L. ext.) - 5 mg (mg).
Excipients: dicalcium phosphate thickener, microcrystalline cellulose filler, corn starch stabilizer, yellow film coating (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate, ethylcellulose, quinoline yellow lake (E104), polyethylene glycol, talc), polyvinylpyrrolidone thickener (PVP K 30), sodium benzoate preservative (E211), anti-caking agents talc, magnesium stearate (E572).
Contains dye E104, which may have a harmful effect on activity and attention in children.
Properties
Component characteristics:
Garlic (Allium sativum L.):
- stimulates the secretory-motor function of the gastrointestinal tract;
- activates bile secretion, prevents the formation of cholesterol stones;
- exhibits hypolipidemic activity (helps reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels and increase the number of high-density lipoproteins);
- inhibits fermentation processes in the intestines, promotes the development of normal intestinal flora;
- prevents liver and gallbladder damage;
- prevents the growth of pathogenic flora, exhibiting significant bactericidal, antifungal, and antimicrobial effects;
- exhibits an immunomodulatory effect due to the high content of vitamins, trace elements and phytoncides;
- has pronounced disinfectant and antioxidant properties.
Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica L.):
- has a choleretic effect;
- has an anti-inflammatory effect;
- improves regenerative processes in the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract;
- normalizes lipid metabolism in the body.
Dry bile:
- Takes an active part in the digestive processes (activates the enzymatic activity of the pancreas and intestinal juice, as well as the motility of the gastrointestinal tract);
- participates in lipid metabolism processes, regulating the processes of emulsification of fats and cholesterol;
- has a bacteriostatic effect, preventing the growth and reproduction of pathogenic flora;
- promotes the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K).
Activated carbon:
- an adsorbent with high surface activity and high sorption capacity; • reduces the absorption of toxic substances from the digestive tract;
- adsorbs gases in the intestines, reducing flatulence.
Recommendations for use
Cholitrin can be recommended as a source of biologically active substances that help normalize the functioning of the biliary tract and liver, and help improve digestion.

Contraindication
Individual sensitivity to active components, childhood, pregnancy and breastfeeding; conditions accompanied by the risk of biliary tract obstruction (presence of stones, spastic and obstructive phenomena in the biliary tract), acute inflammatory processes in the gastrointestinal tract and organs of the hepatobiliary zone and gastric and duodenal ulcers in the acute stage.
Method of application
Adults are recommended to take 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day after meals for 3-4 weeks, and then 1 tablet 2-3 times a day after meals for 1-2 months. If necessary, as prescribed by a doctor, repeat the maintenance course of administration 2-3 times with a break of 3 months. Usually the first signs of improvement appear on the 5-8th day after the start of use.
Duration of use: the duration of use and the possibility of repeated courses should be agreed with the doctor.
Reservation
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake (serving). Do not use as a substitute for a balanced diet.

Expiration date
3 years from the date of manufacture.
