Cidelon eye drops bottle 5 ml

Tsidelon is a combined drug for topical use. It has antiseptic, antiallergic and anti-inflammatory effects. Zinc sulfate when applied topically has antiseptic, astringent, drying and local anti-inflammatory effects.

Decamethoxine has an antiseptic effect and has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity against gram-positive (staphylococci, pneumococci, streptococci) and gram-negative (gonococci, meningococci) cocci, corynebacteria, gram-negative bacteria (enterobacteria, pseudomonads), protozoa, dermatophytes, yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida, chlamydia and viruses. In the process of using Tsidelon, resistant variants of microorganisms are formed slowly. The drug potentiates the effect of traditional antimicrobial agents in complex treatment.

Indications for use

Inflammatory diseases of the anterior segment of the eye of microbial etiology (keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis), as well as inflammatory reactions of the conjunctiva after surgical interventions.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Age up to 12 years.

Method of administration and doses

The drug is prescribed 1-2 drops 3 times a day in the affected eye for both children over 12 years of age and adults. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on the severity and course of the disease and usually the treatment continues until the symptoms disappear completely.

Overdose

No cases of overdose were observed.

Special instructions

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Since there is no experience with the use of the drug in pregnant or breastfeeding women, the drug should be prescribed taking into account the risk/benefit ratio.

Children

Do not use in children under 12 years of age.

Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

Patients who experience blurred vision after instillation of the drug should refrain from driving or operating machinery.
