Citolab pH test strips for determining the pH of the vaginal environment No. 1

Citolab pH test strips (1 pc) are designed to measure the acidity of the vaginal environment (pH). In most cases, the pH of vaginal discharge changes in the early stages of vaginal infections and can be a diagnostic marker of diseases of the female reproductive system.

Main characteristics

The vaginal microflora is normally in a balanced state: lactobacilli predominate and create an acidic pH (normal pH values are in the range of 4.0 to 4.4). This is a natural defense against the penetration and reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms.

Testing procedure

Advice

Do not touch the reagent areas on the test strip. Do not throw away the swab until the result has been evaluated. Remove the test strip immediately before use.
