Using a nebulizer
Before using the device for the first time, clean it as described in the “Maintenance and Disinfection” section.
In order to pour the therapy agent into the nebulizer chamber, you need to turn the chamber lid counterclockwise and open it according to the picture.
Remove the cap and make sure the spray tip (or baffle) is properly attached to the top of the chamber, and pour the correct amount of therapy into the bottom of the chamber as recommended by your doctor. Do not pour more than 8 ml (ml) of therapy into the nebulizer chamber.
After the therapy agent is poured into the nebulizer chamber, screw the top of the chamber as shown in the picture below. Place the nebulizer chamber on a clean and dry surface.
Make sure that the power supply specifications match those indicated on the nebulizer body. Connect the DC adapter to the device, and then plug the adapter power supply into a power outlet.
Securely connect one end of the air tube to the nebulizer chamber and the other end to the appropriate compressor fitting (air outlet).
Wear a mask or nasal cannula, or use a mouthpiece (depending on your doctor's recommendations).
Turn on the nebulizer using the “O/I” button.
Wear a mask that fits snugly against your face and completely covers your mouth and nose, or use a mouthpiece or nasal aspirator (depending on your doctor's recommendations).
During the procedure, breathe in and out as normal. Sit up straight and relax. Do not lie down during the procedure. Do not tilt the nebulizer chamber more than 45˚.
Stop inhalation if you feel unwell.
After inhalation, turn off the nebulizer by pressing the “O/I” button. Unplug the power supply and disconnect the adapter cable from the nebulizer.
Disconnect the air tube from the nebulizer chamber and compressor. As with most nebulizers, a small amount of solution remains in the nebulizer chamber after inhalation – a residual volume that is not atomized. This is normal.
Pour out the remaining therapy agent from the nebulizer chamber and follow the steps described in the “Maintenance and Disinfection” section.
This nebulizer can operate continuously for 25 minutes, after which it must be turned off to cool down. The nebulizer can be turned on again after 40 minutes.
The nebulizer body may become warm during operation – this is normal.
Maintenance and disinfection
Wash your hands thoroughly before cleaning and disinfecting accessories.
After each use, thoroughly rinse all parts of the nebulizer chamber and remove any remaining therapy agent and any contamination.
Accessories should be washed before and after each use.
The compressor housing (main unit) and air tube should be wiped with a clean, damp cloth. It is strictly forbidden to wash the compressor housing under running water. The compressor housing is not protected against the penetration of liquids.
Cleaning the accessories: Rinse all accessories except the air tube, compressor, and DC adapter in warm water, then air dry.
Disinfection. To disinfect accessories other than the air tube, compressor and DC adapter, you can use appropriate disinfectants according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The nebulizer chamber, mouthpiece and nasal insufflation tip can be disinfected by boiling in water for 15–20 minutes. Make sure there is always water in the container during boiling. Do not use autoclaves, ethylene oxide gas sterilizers or low-temperature plasma sterilizers. After washing, air dry the accessories.
In order to remove moisture from the air tube, you need to connect one end to the compressor fitting, leave the other free, and turn on the nebulizer for a few seconds.
Microbial contamination. If the patient is sick, he can cause microbial contamination of the nebulizer accessories, in which case it is necessary to use personal inhalation accessories and a separate nebulizer chamber (you should always consult a doctor).
Do not bend the air tube. Do not wrap the DC adapter cable around the nebulizer body.
