How does the remedy work?
The method of cleaning dentures with Corega Max Cleaning is based on the action of hydrogen peroxide generators, such as perborates, percarbonates, and persulfates.
The hydrogen peroxide formed has antimicrobial activity. The interaction of tetraacetylethylenediamine with hydrogen peroxide generators in aqueous solution produces peracetic acid, which has demonstrated disinfectant properties in efficacy tests. This results in improved antibacterial and antifungal activity of the product.
The product also contains surfactant, whitening and antimicrobial components. The combined action of these components causes the softening and separation of particles stuck to the prosthesis and the removal of stains, bacteria and plaque.
Corega MAX Cleaning helps maintain the cleanliness and hygienic freshness of dentures.
Helps prevent irritation and tartar formation.
Indications for use
The most common chemical form of denture cleaning products is the denture cleaner tablet. This category of products is an adjunct to the care of removable dentures (both complete and partial) and is designed to remove food particles, stains, microorganisms, and plaque from them outside the oral cavity.
Typically, dentures are immersed in a solution of these agents for 3 minutes or more. To enhance the quality of the treatment, it is recommended to supplement the effect of the agent by mechanically cleaning the denture with a toothbrush and, after keeping it in the cleaning agent solution for the required time, rinse the denture before re-use in running water. The addition of tetraacetylethylenediamine enhances the antimicrobial activity of the agent and thereby increases the effectiveness of the product.
Recommendations for daily use
For external use.
- Take a suitable container, such as a special container for storing dentures, filled with a sufficient amount of very warm water (not hot).
- Place 1 tablet of Corega in a container of such volume with very warm water that the denture (full or partial) is completely covered with the resulting solution.
- After soaking the denture for 3-5 minutes, for best results, it is recommended to clean the denture with a soft brush using the solution.
