Croxen capsules No. 30
General information
Croxin is a herbal combination of saffron extract, B vitamins, and magnesium for regulating psycho-emotional states associated with depressed mood, irritability, sleep disturbances, anxiety, apathy, and restlessness.
Anxiety and depression as a factor in neurotransmitter imbalance.
Stress, mental and emotional overexertion alter metabolism and deplete the reserves of certain monoamines, affecting the balance of neurotransmitter systems, which, in turn, are responsible for mental well-being.
Thus, patients with anxiety and depression syndromes usually have reduced levels of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, which regulate the psycho-emotional state and harmonize mood, and contribute to the normalization of the depth and quality of sleep by reducing anxiety.
The ability of saffron to regulate the replenishment of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine is manifested in harmonizing the psycho-emotional state, reducing anxiety, and stabilizing mood.
Magnesium regulates calcium and sodium channels in cell membranes, and therefore the concentration of these metals in cells. Normal functioning of ion channels protects muscle cells and nerve cells from hyperactivity, maintains heart rhythm, is of great importance for energy production and metabolism, and transmission of nerve impulses. B vitamins normalize the functioning of the nervous system, take an active part in the synthesis of amino acids (adrenaline, dopamine, serotonin, etc.), affect the process of hematopoiesis and are of crucial importance in metabolic processes in neurons.

Mechanism of action.
According to literature data, crocin and safranal, which are the main components of saffron extract, have an antidepressant effect, which is associated with the effect on the synaptic transmission of monoamines. The action of the active components of saffron is expressed through the mechanism of inhibition of the reuptake of serotonin, dopamine and noradrenaline. Safranal also acts as an agonist of GABA receptors, providing a sedative effect, contributing to the normalization of the depth and quality of sleep. Crocin has antioxidant and neuroprotective properties, which leads to a decrease in anxiety, stabilization of the psychological state, calming and balancing reactions to external stimuli during stress.
The pharmacological effects of Croxen are due to the unique composition of ingredients that stimulate the compensatory capabilities of the body. The presence of B vitamins (thiamine (B1), cyanocobalamin (B12), pyridoxine (B6), folic acid (B9)) and magnesium is important. Each of these active substances is biologically important for the normal functioning of the CNS and is effective for increasing the body's resistance to various stress factors. Saffron contains minerals (Cu, Mn, Ca, Fe, K, Mq, Se, Na, Zn, etc.), which play an important role in metabolism and energy.
