Cuckoo nasal irrigation set for adults

Composition
Nasal rinse bottle 240 ml. 40 sachets of sea salt.
Recommendations for use
When rinsing the nasal cavity with sea salt, pathological secretions are removed from the surface of the nasal mucosa along with viruses, bacteria, allergens and dust, swelling and inflammation are reduced, and capillary tone is increased. The mucous membrane is beneficially affected by trace elements and salts of the Mediterranean Sea.
Recommended:
- patients with sinusitis, ethmoiditis, frontitis and adenoiditis;
- patients with acute rhinitis, acute respiratory viral infections and allergic rhinitis;
- after surgical intervention on the nasal mucosa;
- frequently ill patients;
- as a part of daily hygiene.
Method of application
Preparation of the solution:
- Thoroughly wash the bottle and cap of the "KUKUSHKA" product using a mild soap solution. Rinse thoroughly.
- Pour the contents of the sea salt sachet into the bottle.
- Fill the bottle with warm water (purified, pre-boiled, distilled or sterile) to the 120 ml. or 240 ml. mark. Test the temperature of the solution by squeezing a few drops on your wrist. Use warm water.
- Screw the cap on and shake the bottle.
- The solution should always be fresh. Mix a new batch after washing and rinsing the bottle and cap. Rinse the cap after each use.
The best way to use the "CUCKOO" set is in the shower or while leaning over the sink.
Method of application:
- Pull the tip to open and place the tip of the bottle into one nostril, ensuring a good seal. Keep your head straight and look forward. Aim the tip of the bottle towards the back of the throat, lifting the bottle from below. DO NOT aim the tip higher.
- When pressing the cap, close your throat tightly with your tongue, as if you were gargling, or by making a sound (such as “coo-coo”), or by simply holding your breath while pressing the bottle. PLEASE NOTE: It takes practice to learn how to block your throat. Blocking your throat prevents the solution from entering your mouth, and therefore the salty taste. If this happens, it is not harmful.
- Gently press the bottle, allowing the solution to flush the area along the nasal septum and out the opposite nostril. PLEASE NOTE: You may feel a slight stinging sensation the first time you rinse your nose. This sensation is normal and will subside with repeated use.
- Change nostrils and repeat the procedure.
- Allow the solution to drain freely from your nose for a few seconds, then blow your nose gently. If you have plugged your ears, you should blow your nose more carefully, or simply let the solution drain naturally.
- To help the solution drain, lean forward and gently turn your head from side to side.
- Carefully blow your nose after the solution drains naturally.
